Hunter is exclusively breastfed. I told the hospital no bottles or pacifiers to avoid nipple confusion. My goal was to keep him off them until my milk came in fully and I was sure we had a routine down. It's worked well and he's done a great job. I started pumping earlier this week because I wanted to try to get a little more sleep and maybe actually leave the house at some point. The problem is, he won't take the bottle. He will suck on it once or twice and even though milk comes out, he immediately screams. We've tried different bottles, different temperatures on the milk, even giving it to him minutes after I've pumped. He's just not having it. He won't take a pacifier either, but that bothers me less.
Any suggestions or tricks?
