Around 4:30ish am every morning, Hunter wakes up for a feeding. I feed him, change him, and lay him back down. He doesn't go to sleep though. He lays there, eyes open and just looks around and makes noises. After 5 or so minutes, I used to pick him back up and hold/rock him and he would go to sleep. The last couple of nights, I let him keep going for about 20 or 30 minutes before picking him up again. I've now just let him be tonight. It's been almost an hour and I can still hear him in his room making noises and assume he's still awake. He's not crying or fussing, just sort of squeaking and cooing. Is that common? Should I just leave him there? Should I expect him to fall asleep on his own again? I know he's tired. I could see it in his eyes when I was feeding him and I'm sure if I went and picked him up he'd fall asleep in my arms.
