Water or not???

Being #4 and having had all 3 of my others brake early you would think I would know :angry1:

I woke up today because the baby was moving and then I felt a huge pop. Now I have felt this pop with all my others right before waters braking then standing up and feeling wet (not a lot more like how you feel after sex) and going to the bathroom and having a gush of water and some still comming out after I knew my bladder was empty.

Now this is where they are all diff:
With my first I had a huge gush and then after no signs of water I never leaked it was like it all came out at one time and was done.
With my 2nd I had the gush and then noting when walking but I did have mini gushes (looking like I was pee'ing) every contraction until she was born.
3rd did not brake until I was pushing and I was already in the hospital 10cm and I never was off the bed after that so I am unsure if I was leaking lots or little with that one.
So I have no history of just small leaks or any wetness other then when I had a contraction.

This time I did not get the wet feeling but I did go potty and I had to pee alot but I was able to stop it/or it stopped before I was done going to the bathroom. I have now been up 15 min (siting at the computer) and no leaking, no contractions and no gush. Just that strange POP feeling that has me going "if it was not my bag what did I feel?" I am not having contractions.

If there is a question - call your office or go in and get checked.

I've had poping, too with no gushes... I would call and mention it, see what they think.

Could be a high leak too...I'd definitely go get it checked just to be safe!

I have a call into the OB. It sucks the one on call is not mine. But I need all the info I an get to Bill so we know if he needs to start driving to me (3 hours) or not. Having cramps every 20 min. On top of the low kick counts yesterday I think they are going to want me to get a NST if nothing else. I just feel damp not even like I am leaking.

I've never had my water break at home (before labor) so I have no clue...but I think you are smart to get seen. Good luck! KUP!

I went in. They checked me. I'm "floppy" and open. No sign that my fluid is leaking, I am having contractions but they are not near each other so I was sent home.

I had a pop last night in my belly button area, but no water. So, maybe it is normal.

Glad you got it checked out. Maybe you will continue to have contractions and go into active labor.

I have lots of pops near the end, but it's not from my water breaking. It's from when I turn over or something my pelvic bone 'pops' and it makes me think every time that if that was my water or not. But it never was. I had one this morning too and I know it's just that bone popping.
