All is good. Baby is head down, which I was pretty sure about. I asked the midwife if she could guess at his size from palpating, and she said she is pretty good at estimating size at this point in her career. She wouldn't go so far as to venture a weight estimate, but said he feels totally average, right on track for 32 weeks. That was a relief because DH had me freaked out that he was really big. Visited the birth center also. It is awesome, there's a waterbirth tub, the rooms are huge and equipped with all of the birth "toys" a person could want (squatting bars, birth stools, yoga balls, etc.). Almost makes me wish I had long enough labors to try them all out I'm kinda thinking about the waterbirth option. We'll see how I feel and if there's time. The only crappy thing is that due to recent security regulations, they had to close the separate entrance to the birth center and now you have to walk all the way from the main hospital entrance through a whole other wing--while in labor! With people staring at you! Oh, well, it's worth it once you get there.
