chronic pain on right side

So for about 6 days now I've been getting chronic lower right side achy pain in my abdomen and am not sure what to do about it....It it not that bad to where I've tooken anything for it yet, but I've definately thought about reaching for the tylonol a couple times. I called my midwife about it friday, and she seemed to not know what would be causing it...and freaked me out by mentioning overian cists or appendisidious. I would normally just think it is streaching pains, but why only on one side?? I can still feel baby move all the time, so I'm not too worried about him/her but what about the placenta, maybe it's attached over there and I can feel it tugging?? Idk if thats even possible lol but my mind is all over the place at this point. It happens a couple of times per day, not in any particular order. Any thoughts ladies??

I have been getting a pretty sharp pain on my lower right side. Is it sharp or achy? I have no idea what it is, was going to ask the Dr at my next appointment, but thought it might help you feel better to know you are not the only one Smile

I do know that if it is appendicitis, your muscles will 'guard' when you push on it. They will tense up like they are protecting the spot.

When is your ultrasound? They could check for cysts then. Hope you feel better soon.

I'll get a sharp pain if I move a certain way. Or if I am laying down and try to move. And usually it's only on one side. It's the stretching pains. However, are you getting it even when you don't move?

Lorah, I am the same way I get those pains when I move to fast or try to stretch a certain way, but I think those are all RLP.

My big ultrasound is tuesday, so I am just going to wait and ask her to check for things then...I ended up calling my midwife again, and she just said it's probably ligament pain due to baby's position. I actually didn't get it today, but yes, I do get it just sitting here...It is just real achy, kinda comes in waves like tiny throbbing. I hope it's just one side that is tighter than the other. I can't wait for my ultrasound otherwise!! My 5 year old is counting down the days too!!!

Just realized your a bit ahead of me. When I was pregnant with DS I swore for weeks that he was trying to burrow into my right hip. It was achy and painful, like you are describing. I think I was a bit farther along, but it is your third, so....... Hopefully it is just the position of the baby pushing on something.
