Hello Unisom!!!

I have had horrible MS since the begining of this pregnancy and my Dr. told me to give Unisom a try. I had never heard of taking it for MS but I was desperate for some relief. Two days ago I took an entire tablet before bed.......So the good, I had not one episode of MS all day. The bad it took until 7 p.m yesterday for me to feel like I was awake.......So last night I took a half tablet and I actually felt half human today for the first time in weeks!!! I had a couple of waves of nausea, but nothing horrible. I made dinner, some brownies, and deep cleaned my house, (which was much needed). Of course now I am starting to worry that something is wrong becuase I actually feel normal. I am sure it is just the meds though lol. Anyway, just had to share my new found best friend Unisom Smile in case it can help anyone else Smile

Oh I am so happy to hear you are feeling better! I had heard of Unisom too but couldn't figure out how it would work to not fall asleep while taking it. Ha ha. Glad you got the dosage figured out! Smile

That's great that you have found something to help make you feel better. I will definitely keep that in mind if I start to feel too sick.

No def different that Tylenol PM. There is no pain reliever in it and the active ingredient Doxylamine is what helps keep MS at bay Smile

So glad you found something that works. I may have to mention it to my Doc.

I am glad that Unison is helping. Are you pairing it with B6? I tried that and it didn't seem to touch my symptoms. I finally got prescribbed Zofran a little over a week ago and that helped a LOT. Not fun walking around feeling like you have the flu. Lastnight was the first real meal I had made for a good three weeks Smile Hope it continues helping!

I was taking B6, before I actaully was ever preg, I ran out and never bought more. I am not really sure if it was even helping....Maybe I should add it back in???? Glad you found something that works for you though. My Dr. said it can go either way, for some Zofran might work for one person and not the other and same goes with Unisom...Weird...

I am doing Unisom with B6. It's working great. I didn't try them separately, so I don't know which one is working, but I don't care, I am just delighted I can eat somewhat normally again. It's only been one day, I hope I keep improving.
