Hoping I'll be here

I was super hopeful for my last cycle but it didn't happen and that's okay. So now I'm super hopeful that this cycle will be my cycle and I'll be here! Last cycle was my very first of Clomid and I responded very well with very little side effects and I hyperovulated. Somehow we didn't catch that egg but the doc said he didn't think it would happen on the first cycle and thought we had a much better chance on the second one so here's hoping! Looks like if this cycle works out I'd be due around the beginning of July so on CD1 now and waiting sort of patiently this time to start my second round of Clomid and ovulate. Hoping for BFPs for everyone here!

Hey Gina! I sure hope it's our month! I hope it's everyone's month here. Smile But definitely not pregnant and I'm okay with that now as long as I have an answer. Since I have PCOS we thought it might take a while. Doesn't make it any less frustrating but does make it feel more normal and expected at least. So we're in high spirits for our next try and our next round of Clomid! Smile

Wishing you lots of luck this cycle!! I've decided if I don't get pregnant this cycle, I'm doing clomid next cycle. I was waiting for the weather to get cooler because I get terrible hot flashes with clomid!

yes lets cross our fingers that this is our month for all of us!!! I'm so excited now that we are set on the decision to go for it that I want it to happen now! LOL Like yesterday! I'm getting a maya wrap on craigslist and looking at an ergo baby carrier and i'm so excited. My hubby says "aren't you putting the cart before the horse?" but i can't help it i'm so excited. I'm also cleaning and organizing the house cuz i'm picturing a baby crawling around in my messy kids rooms etc. and he says "will you stop nesting" LOL but it's easier to do this stuff now then to wait till after i'm pg and :puke2: and everything Smile

I got hot flashes too! I suppose they weren't really that bad but they were pretty annoying. I've never had them before and all of a sudden my chest and neck and face would be bright red! The worst part was the insanity I experienced for two days after I ovulated. Found out later my progesterone was 37 so I suppose that's why I was like that but man...I cried over everything for two days and then everything was fine again. Smile I'm okay with that though. I've heard some of the side effects can be so bad so I'm glad I haven't had any major problems. I'm starting my next round of Clomid tomorrow. Smile

And Gina I hear ya! I nest too even when I don't technically have a reason yet. DH and also my mom don't think that I should buy anything cause they think it's bad luck, my mom more so than DH. I've already looked up everything that I want to get though and I've read lots of articles about saving and what you really need vs. what you think you need. I have a list of the things we've decided we want and I started saving a good 6 months ago hoping that we can at least afford all of the initial things like a crib and the stuff we don't get from a baby shower or something. I figure if we can buy that and have savings left over then we'll be off to a good start. Don't know if it'll actually happen but that's the goal. Smile I've also considered how to baby proof this house already...I can't help but this ahead. Haha.

I am driving DH nuts with this Smile haha ! We already have a DD and he's like why do we need anything else? But, I want to cloth diaper with this one so I've been doing tons of research about them and pricing. I can't wait to get pregnant so I have a reason to go into the city (St. Louis) and go to Cotton Babies ! I'm also doing some searching about breastfeeding because we had serious issues with it with my DD and I really want to be successful this time. I've also been surfing ETSY for cute little baby things and looking at fabrics for this one too. I made most of DD's sheets and blankets myself so I'll want to do that with the next one too. I just want to be pregnant so I have an excuse to be staring at baby stuff all the time !

well i'm glad it's not just me! I had my DH get a stroller, carseat combo today from craigslist for $40! it even came with 2 bases! I said "i know i'm not pg yet but this is too good of a deal to pass up and I'll be pregnant this month" LOL I hope. I also made a mei tai today! I got a free pattern online and tried it out and it is really nice! I put my 4 yo in it and he loves it LOL. He was like "walk around with me like this!" LOL I'm so excited!

I've already planned out the nursery completely. My step sister gave us her pack n play that my parents bought her when she had my nephew. It's a really nice Eddie Bauer one and of course since they just used it for him when he was a baby it's in great shape! I've already planned exactly where it'll go in the bedroom. And I've planned out the room with the crib and I've picked out a crib and a dresser and now I'm looking at rocking chairs and gliders. I figured out exactly what paint color I like best and what swing I want, etc etc. I've even tried to not buy many clothes for work in case I need maternity clothes soon. I'm really short so my mom is convinced I'll need them soon once I'm pregnant. DH thinks I'm nuts sometimes but it's hard not to plan for all of this stuff especially when we're so excited and feel so ready for it to happen.

It's very hard not to plan for something you want so bad! I was the same way with my 1st.. I didn't have anything until after she was almost here cuz i was so afraid to buy anything. I'm not like that now though... I am just putting faith in the fact that it will happen and im concentrating on that Smile
