I heart maternity clothes :)

I had a coupon for Kohls and went and bought a few things to add to my maternity wardrobe. A pair of Maternity lounge pants and a maternity t-shirt.....They are so comfy Biggrin So much better then my jeans, which are getting too snug due to bloating.

I need to go to Motherhood Maternity and buy some Secret Fit Belly Jeans, I love those too....but I hate the price. I hate that Maternity clothes are so expensive especially for the small amount of time that we wear them........*sigh*

(note to self....find my Bella Band)

As a plus sized girl, I'm dreading this part of it. I know there is a lot more stuff out there than there once was, and I've bookmarked all the stores and online retailers I've found that sell the stuff. But between the prices and pretty limited variety of styles... Blum 3 I'm kinda hoping my sister will "loan" me some of her tops from her pg (we've generally been about the same size on top....but she is way taller with much longer legs, so pants are out!) We'll see.

I was plus sized with my past 2 pregnancies and it is very hard to find affordable clothes and have choices. Motherhood had an ok selection, but I did best on jcpenny.com. the Ana brand was really nice because their tops were longer and didn't shrink. I noticed the motherhood tops shrank in length and I wash everything in cold water and hand dry. There is definately a better selection online. I also bought tops a size bigger in Lane Bryant for the first half or so of my pregnancies so that helped. Good luck!

I have a bunch of Maternity clothes from Kohls from when I had DD. I loved their stuff. I'm still the same size I was before DD so whenever #2 comes I shouldn't have an issue with my maternity stuff. I'll probably get a few more items tho for Summer wear since most of my stuff is more for early summer, fall then winter.

Jean, I have this problem too. You'd be surprised the awesome deals I've gotten on ebay. It's worth checking into.

Mee Too! I can't wait for Maternity Clothes time! Once i start wearing them, it is the only few months in my life in which I do not feel the need to suck in my tummy or worry about my muffin top in my jeans! LOL
I have a decent collection from DS - but..
1) All the bigger sizes are winter (DS was born in Jan) so I will mostly likely need a ton more - think i only have 1 sleeveless top and 1 skirt
2) my cousin has all my clothes - she is about 2 months post partum, i have no problem asking for them back, but want to wait till we tell the whole family..

I probally won't need them for some time yet... but they will sure be more comfy after meals when I am bloated... my clothes fit fine now, but after I eat I feel very bloated and wish I was in leggins or yoga pants (which I can't wear to work)

I'm definitely going to check into eBay, and I forgot about JCPenney. I even went poking around the fabric store today for patterns....the are amazingly few, but I got one that I can probably make a few "custom" pieces from, too. Smile

I love maternity clothes! I've had one late fall, 3 winter and one spring baby so I'll need a few things for summer. I've gotten a few things from old navy. And I also like ebay. I got a pair of secret fit jeans(best mat jeans ever!) from a pea in the pod for $22. They were $65 new. I also found a site called kikisfashions.com. They have some really cute stuff for a pretty reasonable price. Didn't see anything over $28 and right now you can take 25% off everything on their site! They do seem to run a little small though so it's good to order a size bigger than your normal size.
