OMG, this was the worst constipation day ever. Have any of you read Belly Laughs by Jenny McCarthy? There's a chapter on constipation called "Passing Stonehenge" and that is what it felt like today. I was in the bathroom forever and I was afraid I was never coming out again...one of those situations where I couldn't just give up and say it wasn't happening right then and try again later because it was past the point of no return, but would not go any further and all I could do was sit there (in a fair amount of pain I might add) and hope that it would eventually come out. DH was knocking on the door every few minutes after a while like "Are you OK??" I was in the bathroom for over 30 minutes in this agonizing situation. Sorry, TMI, but it was so traumatic I have to share. I swear, it was like practice for the birth.
