Potty Talk TMI

Yup, I am going there....Why not it is all part of the process right??;) So after not having a regular BM for weeks, yes weeks!! I finally gave in and called my Dr.yesterday to ask if I could take anything because all the natural stuff was not helping. She told me to take a Senocot and to not make plans for the day, Lol ( really that is what she said haha). Can I just tell you guys that I think that was 90% of my problem as far as the nausea goes? I have felt soooooooo much better today. My DH made a good point that it cannot be good to keep all that waste in your body for longer than you are supposed to... YUCK!! This whole constipation thing is new to me I have never been constipated ever in my life lol, not even with my other 2 kiddos. So if anyone else is suffering maybe this will help them out.

I totally agree that the times I have felt most nauseous this pregnancy are the days I have been less regular. Glad you got some relief! Smile

Hahah - "don't make plans for the day" LOL

Glad it worked for you.

I have alot of constipation last pregnancy and this one as well - but not for weeks! Maybe i was only going ever 2 - 3 days, which is still not enough for me - but YES, i agree, once i am able to go I feel much better!
Also i find the prenatal vitamins make it worse... so I usually take them only every other day so on the off day i can poop and not have too much of a back up - LOL

I am glad that you found something that helps! I haven't been too bad (not taking prenatal vits right now), but the nurse also told me to try Mirlax if I experience any troubles. Glad that you found some relief! Smile

*Lurker*

I was given a big thing of Miralax when I was having problems and told to switch to flinstone vitamins because the prenatals they gave me backed me up horribly! And that gave me bad hemorrhoids. Ugh! I'm just glad I haven't been as bad lately. Hopefully you get the relief you need!

My doctor told me to take a Colace a day for the remainder of the pregnancy. It has really helped and my nausea is almost non-existant now!

I am sorry for your constipation troubles! I haven't had any, but I do pee a ridicuolous amount of times in the middle of the night....It is becoming a problem!! I don't want to stop drinking at night because that's when I drink all my water for the day lol
Hope yours gets better!!!

That really sucks, I can't believe you made it that long with out going. I haven't had that problem and hopefully if it hits it won't be until later on.
