Tell me about your weekend...

Im bored and no one is posting. LOL I'm thinking maybe everying is gettin busy? ROFL Come on what's going on with everyone? I need something to take my mind off of waiting to O!

Yesterday was crazy for us. I had Soccer pictures for both kids starting at 8 AM and then Alyssa had a game. Then I had a baby shower right after that (I had to change in McDonalds bathroom LOL) and then right after that we had church which we had to go to cuz we were getting the kids dedicated. We had them both baptized in Ohio but now that we are in a new church and TTC we want them all dedicated in the same church. I know I'm the crazy planner LOL. Gotta have things all lined up lol

Today is almost as crazy. We have church school at 11 (we are joining our new church) and then after that I am going to my friends house to teach her how to use her sewing machine, then Alyssas school has a dedication ceremony cuz this is their first year.

Whew I'll be glad when this weekend is over but i'm so glad this didnt' happen after i am pregnant and morning sickness set in!

So how is your weekend? relaxing or crazy like mine?

Hey! Yesterday was kind of crazy. DH, my mom, and I decided to go to a new state park to hike some trails...the park was set up really weird and we were lost for a while. Haha. It definitely wasn't centered around it's hiking trails that's for sure. So we finally found a ranger and got a map and picked a trail. Of course we just had to pick the trail called Devil's Backbone...and it truly was. We hike as much as we can and I have NEVER been on a trail that steep. I had to stop every few minutes to catch my breath on some of the harder spots. And I'm not out of shape either. Last weekend I had a sinus infection and hiked in the snow on a ledge that fell down into a gorge. Haha. But this trail wore me out! It was worth it though. It great views and the leaves are getting so pretty.

Today I'm just sitting at home resting and doing this stupid 24 hour urine test that the doc wanted me to do since I had so many kidney stones this summer. Hopefully we'll figure out why before I get pregnant and then I won't have to worry about having them once I am because that is a serious concern of mine. I had I think 5 this summer and 3 that sent me to the ER screaming and crying in pain. Thankfully no surgery or procedures necessary and we think they may have happened cause I worked outside all summer and was staying dehydrated no matter how much water I drank. Avoiding that job next summer!

That's it for me! Hope O gets here quickly for you and you're not too stressed! Good luck!

Hiya!
I work every weekend so pretty uneventful!
Came in early to work to redlight (skin rejuvination therapy) haha and make myself feel better.
Then worked all day... then went to carters outlet an hour away right after work with my BFF so she could get last minute baby stuff (her baby is due soon) and I got brody al ot of stuff, and had a coupon, so 200 $$$ of stuff i paid like 64 woot woot!!!

Then came home (late) and did homework (ugh) and went to bed.

Then slept in til 730 today!!! and brody stayed in his bed all night! YAY!!!! sooo then rushed around getting ready for work! Now im @ work and enjoying the peace for an hour (until the other person gets here!)

OH ps. I'll add that AF showed this morning so I'm not feeling "so great" and really sad and bummed but... trying to move on and have a fresh start this month!!!

wow Leah sounds like you are really active! I envy you! I am forcing myself to workout tomorrow cuz i've been so busy i've been slacking off but it's no excuse. I need to loose weight b4 i get pregnant so i'm not uncomfortable with the extra weight. this way if it takes a while to get pregnant it's ok cuz i'll be losing weight while i'm working on it Wink If i get pregnant right away then i'll still work out but lose weight after. but then i still won't gain during the pregnancy.

Cait i'm so sorry AF arrived! I was still hoping you would get your BFP this month but maybe we will all get ours together this month! I'll keep my fingers crossed! and WTG on the shopping! I love getting deals like that!

I haven't always been this active Gina! Hehe. I like to be and I was a gymnast and a ballroom dancer at one time but then I got sick and the disease took over and I couldn't really do anything I wanted to exercise consistently for years. Now I'm doing much better and am back to it. I discovered after moving to the mountains that I love hiking, and DH does too. It's our favorite thing to do together and we like to explore. There are a lot of places nearby so we hike as often as we can, especially now that I'm in better health I just want to be busy. I also make myself do aerobics 3-4 times a week which is a new thing. I've been consistent on this for about a month or just over maybe and it's making a really big difference. My diet still needs work but it's getting easier. Smile

I'm really short and my mom told me that she worries I'll have a hard time not gaining a lot of weight while pregnant and when she was pregnant she got bad varicose veins. They run in the family and she had them already but they got bad then. She hasn't worn shorts since I was little. Poor thing has to wear surgical support hose all the time and she's teeny tiny. She works out all the time too and eats like a bird so she has no problems in the weight category. She got me all paranoid about what'll happen to me with my weight when I get pregnant though so I decided I'd better get in the right habits again before I get pregnant or it'll just be that much harder. She only gained 9 pounds with my sister and 11 with me. That's my goal. Haha.

Good luck Gina! The hardest part is just getting started. I know you can do it! Smile

We were on a Disney cruise and the boat was sooooo rocky on the first and last night. The weather was so bad that we were unable to dock at Disney's private island, which is one of the best parts of the cruise. We still had fun and I am sure we will go back again. My body still feels like it is slightly swaying and we have been off since Sunday morning. When we got back to the port, the weather in FL was horrible. I started spotting on the cruise, so I knew AF was coming, which was kind of depressing.

This was our third cruise on Disney. The last two we went on DS was only 2 years old. He is four and a half now. He had so much fun. They have a slide that is in a clear tube thing and goes above the whole ship. It was so cool. You sit in a raft with someone else (you can see it above DS's head in the photo of him eating ice cream below). They have a huge kids play area that has all kinds of activities for kids. They will watch the kids and have a lot of staff there to do activities. DS loved it but we had to stay with him. They have a huge set-up of Andy's room from Toy Story. It really is a nice boat.

Gina, I would like to lose weight too. I have such a time sticking with exercising. My diet is really bad too. I rarely eat any meat, so I eat a lot of pasta. I love ice cream too.

Leah, I have never been hiking. We lived in AZ for a year and DH wanted to go, but I was afraid of snakes. My mom is really thin too and barely gained any weight while she was pregnant, but that was because she threw up the whole time, not just the first trimester.

You know, my mom has bad vericose veins too and I (knock on wood) never got them and I've had 2 pregnancys. So just cuz your mom had something doesn't mean you will too. Just sayin Smile

I sure hope you're right Gina. My mom had hers from when she was 12 years old and they just kept getting worse. She's had surgery twice, and has had tons and tons of injections. We're pretty sure I have a really deep one on the back of my knee and one on the outside of my calf. They pooch out a teeny bit when I stand for a long time but they aren't that dark yet so we're hoping maybe it won't be so bad. All the women in my family for many generations have had them and they've been terrible. Heres to hoping I'm the exception. Haha.

And yay! Glad you're off to a good start! Smile I did aerobics today but then I ate three cookies so...I need to work on that. Haha.
