I am still in utter disbelief that I am posting an introduction on a birth board. After my last was born over three years ago I had my tubes tied. A few weeks ago as I was getting ready for a shower I noticed my breasts were leaking I decided to take a pg test. To my amazement, there was a very faint line. I continued to test everyday, however the lines stayed faint. Then last Sunday I started to cramp and bleed. I made an apt to go the doctor for last Tuesday. By this time I was sure I was miscarrying due to a lot of bleeding with clots. On Tuesday my doctor did not believe I had been pg because the pee test in the doctor's office was negative. He did a blood test and that came back with a level of 6. He had me back in the office on Thursday to discuss how I could have gotten pg after my tubes were tied and to retest the hcg to make sure it went back to 0. A few hours later I got a call that not only had my levels not returned to 0, but they had doubled and were a 12. The next day (Friday) I took a HPT and got a faint line. The last couple days I have been getting faint lines, but this evening I got a nice dark line.
I do not go back to the doctor until the 29th. I have no idea what happened or how any of this is possible. I am trying not to get too hopeful until after I have been back to the doctor.
