Worsening Groin Pain

Okay, so I remember having a sore groin when I was pregnant with my daughter, but this is insane! About a week or so ago it started off being sore and then painful every now and then. However, the last few days it has gotten pretty bad--so much so people are asking me what is wrong since I am limping so much! It's like a stabbing pain in my right groin when I walk. Anyone else have this? If so, is there any way to soothe it?

I am not sure of what to say but I am dealing with pelvic girdle pain which I have pain in my left side of my buttocks and pain in my left side of my vajayjay. When I walk to left my foot it hurts. I help my pain by keeping my legs together when going out of bed and getting out the vehicles. I also rest lots and do little things each day. Why don't you google it and see what it says for you to soothe it.

I'm not sure either, but you are not alone. I'm mostly sore and tight (like the few days after a hard workout) in my groin, hips and upper legs. No cramping really, just sore and tight.

Some pain now and then, but not significant

I did google it and there were a lot of discussion posts, but not a lot of real websites that spoke to the issue. So, I thought I would check with you ladies. I did end up seeing this:
What is Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction (SPD) ? Musculoskeletal Consumer Review

So, I'm trying those remedies and hoping it isn't something serious that requires physical therapy or anything. I see my OB on Monday so I'm going to ask her about it. I'm sure it's nothing serious and I probably just forgot about the intensity of the pain from the last time around.

Have you tried a belly band? I think getting the weight off your pelvis might help. Also, some stretches, but I don't know which ones at the moment. Maybe side lunges and front lunges.

*lurk* I am suffering from bad groin/pelvic/pubic pain as well. It is painful to walk if I have been particularly active during the day - which is pretty much every day Wink There are some exercises you can do to help relieve SPD, I am just so forgetful that I never do them. Make sure when rolling over in bed at night, you keep your knees together when doing so - also as mentioned when climbing in and out of a vehicle, as much as possible, swing your legs in together.

I mentioned mine to my doc, since it is way worse than it was with #3, but there is not much they can do. I have been wondering about a support belt myself...
