jumping in the July pool!!

worried that if i put this out there, it wont stay.

this has been a long road of TTC #3. we started Oct 2012. 3 CPs between Dec and April. tests all came back fine. decided to just try on our own and do blood work every almost every month. this cycle we decided to go on clomid. Didnt think it would take the first time!!! EDD is july 18th. I had blood work done today and will get my results back in the morning. I am too impatient to wait for my OB to call me so i will be at the labs first thing in the morning!! so far this is the longest i have made in in the last year!!

Oh!!! I have a 6 year old and a 3 year old (both boys). i was active on the Sept 2010 board!! hoping to stay here!!!

It could be too early but highly unlikely. I started full on period bleeding last night. and my lines are getting lighter. I have decided to switch OBs. My current one is out of the office way to much. My old OB was fantastic, and he moved to the other side of the city (45 min drive) so i stayed with his old office and switched OBs. well now i will be going back to him and dealing with the 45 min drive. I need someone with a proactive approach. My ****ty OB wouldnt even think about giving me progesterone bc my levels were fine during my luteal phase. and the one time in the last 6 mos where my progesterone could be tested, was not tested (she was out of the office, and the nurse-not hers- didnt order it). i want to be able to have everything in place just in case i need it. my vision is that i have the progest at home. when i get a BFP, i get blood work done, get the results myself the next morning, and if they are below a certain number i start the progesterone (if i cant get in contact with him, or another OB in the office). my MCs seem to happen way too fast before i can get answers from the Dr. and i need a plan in place!!

soooo that was way longer than intended. I called my old OB this morning and they are getting me in tomorrow morning.

Oh Froggie, I'm so sorry you have to go thru all this stress!! CP/MC obviously are stressful enough - we don't need the added stress of dealing with crappy OB/staff.

I can relate...I had my first IUI done 2 months ago, was super excited when I got a BFP, only for it to end in a CP. THe following month I started spotting only 11 days post IUI...my progesterone levels have all been "normal" (between 14-17.5 on clomid) however I think it must drop pretty quickly. Doc thinks the spotting is an infection, however it's been like this for over 2 years! he doesn't think I needed to go on progesterone.
Sooooo.....I started taking Vitex, Vitamin B6, natural progesterone cream (called Pro-Gest) and acupuncture. Just got my results from my BW that was done 7 days post-IUI and progestrone was 26!!!!!

I wish you all the luck, and I hope you get some answers soon. Smile HUGS!!

Okay. Update... more blood work. He is going to be checking for a blood clotting disorder ( where I over clot).says its unlikely since its hereditary and I have had 2 kids. If positive, I go on baby aspirin. Also will be doing a histoscan next cycle to make sure my uterus looks well and healthy. There is a chance of an issue here since it could be something that happens after pregnancies. Last one is he will put me on progesterone the day I get a BFP! Here is the bad news... we have to put TTC on hold until Feb bc of this month's MC. He wants 3 mos of a healthy/unoccupied uterus. Over all I am happy with the game plan. But I am still very upset about having to put TTC on hold. And I am even more upset at myself for not following my gut and going to him right off the bat! But it is what it is. All I can do is move on from here.

TMarie. so glad your levels are up!!!

Sounds like the change back to him will be very good for you. Don't beat yourself up about it. You made what you believed to be was a good choice at the time. You had no way to know what would happen and that the new OB wouldn't work for you and you changed now when you realized it wasn't a good fit. I'm sure waiting those 3 months will be hard. ((hugs)) and Good luck in the future.
