My doctor has retired :(

I called to book an appointment with my doctor this afternoon, only to get told she has now stopped doing obstetrics. Darn it! I LOVED my doctor and she has been fantastic with all my 'issues'. I don't even know how to go about finding another one now. She was a GP with obstetrics which meant she continued as my children's doctor after their birth. I would love to find that again.

That is a bummer! When I was pregnant with our first, my OB told me at my 28 week appt she couldn't see me anymore. I was so upset! Turns out, I love my new OB even more so it was totally worth the switch! I hope you're able to find an OB you love soon!

Thanks ladies. I called my old GP and she is on leave. Not having much luck. Have managed to get an appointment with a new GP. She doesn't do obstetrics but I am told she has a great list of doctors who she can refer me to. I see her in 2 days Smile

Hope you find someone you love! I'm having to pick someone here for one appointment and then I'm hoping to see midwives a friend recommended after move in December. Picking a provider is a stressful decision.
