Wendy - does temp drop mean AF is on her way? (I don't temp, so not familiar with the process) If so, I'm SOOOO SORRY!! ((HUGS))

Well went in for my 2nd BW since IUI - I'm a week out (7 DPIUI) and my progesterone was only 14.2. (it was 12.5 two days ago, so at least it's going up) Which brings me to a question: Does progesterone go up based on the cycle day OR based on the # of days post ovulation? I know that might not make sense, but what I'm trying to determine is if my levels are the same each cycle. So last cycle I had BW done 7 DPIUI, however it was already CD 23 (I ovulated late), but this cycle, I ovulated early, had the IUI, and did BW today - 7 DPIUI, but I'm only CD 20.

Also, I decided to test - and it was BFN (which what did I expect at only 7 DPIUI) there might have been a slight line, almost to the point I could have been imagining it - but I did have a trigger shot, so could still be lingering 9 days later. BUT at least I know now that IF I get a BFP, and the line is darker - then it's a true + and not the trigger shot.

Generally yes, when temping you can see pre ovulation temps are lower then go up after ovulation. If pregnant they stay up, if not they drop below coverline and af starts.

    This is this months chart

    My Ovulation Chart

See how my temp is at cover line today, it will dip lower tomorrow I would guess.
This is the first month for awhile though my Luteal phase has been normal, I've been having 12 days at most, usually less, lately and lots of spotting, this month it's normal and any spotting I've had has been so minimal I can't class it as real spotting

I hope that turns into a real line for you soon, like you said at least you know the trigger is gone

Wendy - thank you for the "education"!! I've never actually seen anyone's chart before - pretty interesting. I wish I could temp, but my schedule is all over the place - I never wake up at the same time everyday.

I've been having cramps/pains the past few days, so I'm hoping I implanted super early, before my progesterone drops...and I can get my BFP sooner rather than later!!!

AF arrived. Just waiting to call the clinic to book IUI. I have told work I may need time off as I have had stomach aches and my doctor wants it checked out if it comes back so I have a cover for days off. It just comes on a bad week for work as I have material to file for court the week after so two days out of the office will be hard and it will be end of month and I have tons of work due by end of month this month. I will make it work though, if not I cancel the IUI again

I'm sooooo sorry AF arrived!! BIG HUGS!!!!! I really hope you can get some answers from the DR...and that you don't have to cancel IUI! Work can be such a pain right?! haha.

I'm a trainer (computer software for a hospital) and I've had BW and/or US at least once a week (sometimes twice). I ALWAYS find someone to cover for me, if needed, and my appointments have never been more than 30 mins. (with the exception of the IUI day) and luckily, my doc's office is located in the hospital that I work for! (So NO traveling!) Before I started my procedures, I talked to my manager about having all these appts, and some I won't have much notice - and she said that as long as I have coverage, I'm okay. (plus I clock-out, so I'm not getting paid for it anyway) SOOO anyway, I got an email from a team leader (who also knows about my situation) asking if I could try to schedule appts before or after work, that things were going to get really busy, and they are afraid I might not be able to find someone to cover for me!! I was quite upset and explained that I wouldn't take off work unless I had coverage, and I can't go before work (I start at 7 am, and the office doesn't open until 730, and I have to go to that office for insurance/billing reasons) it was just frustrating b/c I thought my work was supportive of what I'm going thru....something else to stress about!!

Oh Wendy I hope the stars line up for you this month. ((((hugs))))

I have been quiet over here this cycle because we have had to have time out from the clinic. Turns out I have ovulated on my own this month. On DAY 12 at that.

Very tired for no reason. And FF is giving me a Due date of 8th July.

If the clinic I am going to wants to see me that often I will have to bow out, it's a 3 hour round trip for me to get there. I have no one who can cover one of my biggest bits of work, I am an applicant for a court order going to hearing I have to write the material required. I'm also not telling work what is going on so have to get cover stories made up, I just don't feel comfortable telling as I work in a very small office.

I have booked my CD10 scan, haven't okayed the time off with work yet so may still need to cancel. I may have to suck it up and tell my team leader though because if this is going to be a common thing it's going to be hard to keep lying, it's just hard to say as my work believe DS was an oopsie (i had been at that office a month when I fell pregnant, we moved here to start a family I decided straight away would be good and bam first try I was pregnant)

Jodie I hope this month works out for you, a natural bfp would be a nice surprise I am guessing
