lowering cribs?

Yes I am full of questions today! hahaha! Wink

The last few days tommy has figured out he can pull up in his crib! Who else has already lowered the crib mattress??? Was it difficult? Did you lower it all the way down or just one slot? I plan on changing it this weekend sometime...

Haven't lowered ours yet. But when we did with our son, we went from the highest setting to the lowest setting. Didn't see the point in having to do it all again in a few months for just a few inches! I'll be having DH lower Alice's by the end of the month, if not sooner though.

Same with the settings - I'm 5'2 and we just lowered it all the way down with DD and I had no problems reaching down to her. Made the most sense to us to only do it once. I don't think it's that difficult, just tricky and you probably have better things to do than spend the time lowering a crib more than once!!

Colin is showing ZERO interest in pulling up yet so we won't bother for a while (I have just jinxed myself for sure)

Yip we lowered our just over a mnth ago, when Charlie started pulling him self up to stand...
I put it right to the bottom setting, it was really easy to do...
I would do it ASAP if he has started to pull himself up, they are so top heavy at this age doesnt take much to topple out...

Same as everyone else, I went down to the lowest setting. It was a little fiddly to do, but I managed it by myself.

Since I am home with tommy today I figured I would give it a shot, and I got it lowered in about 15-20 mins. I did take ya'lls suggestions and went all the way down, its a little bit more to put him down without waking him but so far so good. But it made me sad seeing the mattress so low.
