I stole HEAPS....it started when I was 12...we went to a big mall in the capital with her mother and I wanted a soft toy but it was $50 (they were super expencive back then) so I took it...my friend liked it so I walked back in and took one for her too...I STILL HAVE IT!!!!
From then on in I just took what I wanted...Stuff for school (you know the flash stuff everyone else had, that mum wouldnt buy for me) Usually just little things tho that I could fit in my hand or pocket...the soft toys were the biggest...
With the same friend as the soft toys, her mum owned a fish and chip shop and they had a smoke rack...OLD SCHOOL open one (again we are going back 22-23 years) And she would get her mum talking while I swiped a few packs of smokes for us...

I also stole money from my mums handbag to buy lollies and smokes....She used to leave it hanging on her dinning room table chair...and if I shut the hallway door early in the morning I could get into it without getting caught...She soooo mustve known, I know I would if Zoe was stealling from me...but she never said anything and never got caught...
I also used to steal money from dad too....MAN Im feelign really bad HAHAHA...he used to put all his change at the end of the day under his mattress (this is going back to the days before money cards and people used cash) so he had ALTO...I would do a sweep under his matress when I needed some money for smokes...

WOW what a horrid child I was!!!!!! And to think I wasnt the worst child my parents had HAHAHAHA...

Oh and I used to steal food from our pantry at night...I LOVE FOOD...so I would sneak into the pantry while mum and dad where in there armchairs and steal chocolate biscuits and chocolate and take it to my bedroom so when I went to bed at night, I could eat it all YUM YUM!!!

I stole a few boyfriends too LOL....

I never got caught...probably why I did it...I did grow out of the stealing from shops part but the money from mum and dad, well that was up until I had a job and earnt enough money to keep me going in lollies and smokes...so about 15...Ummmm maybe just the odd $5 here and there to put petrol in dads car when I used it...

Oh nad speakig of dads car...I stole that too a few times HAHAHAHAHA......hmmmmmmmmmmm the things I have to look forward to with my kids aye...and to think I was a good girl compared to the boys father!!!!!!!

Nope. I was too terrified. My dad was a police officer while I was growing up - he put the fear of God into us!

One time I ate an entire box of granola bars and wouldn't fess up until he threatened to fingerprint the empty wrappers. To a 5 year old that's a serious threat...I fessed up.

hahahaha thats sooo funny....I think a police officer for a dad, would make a difference...
I just hung with some bad friends and was a sucker to do what others do...:(
But I was a good kid in general Smile

I've never intentionally stolen anything. I kept a borrowed book because my family moved, and I think in college I forgot to pay for a team sports shirt. I have always had a pretty big conscience when it comes to that. I'm a horrid liar, too.

I stole my great grandma's chapstick at like five years old! Zobi, at least you did not steal from the elderly!!!

The one time I stole from a mall as a young teen I got caught. I got in big trouble with my parents! Apparently I was not a good thief!

Nat you always crack me up!
My dad always had to carry like $300 on him at all times, I would take a few $$ here and there. Otherwise I am pretty much a follow the rules person... well sometimes.... haha

OH MY!!! You are all making me look REALLY bad now HAHAHAHA....Come on all you BAD GIRLS where are you hiding out????

Yes I went through a really naughty stage between 12 and 14, thats when I was the worst...But I was still a really good kid, and was an excellent student and a really good daugther, I just had a really bad streak in me obviously...But I kept it well hiden, well from the people it needed to be hiden from anyway...

I also remember at about age 6 my mum buying a box of chocolates (scortched almonds, do you guys have them?) for my Grandfather...I found them in the pantry and took them to my room and ate them ALL....My mum questioned everyone about it...I denied it, as you do at 6...but she found the evidence in my draw, not too good at getting rid of evidence at age 6 also LOL....I remember feeling so bad...One would think I wouldve learnt my lesson then....BUT NO!!!!!.....

My mother raised us on the uber-religious side and so we were always afraid of hellfire and brimstone if we did anything wrong.. This is no joke, but she used to ground us for things that we didnt do saying that "God tells the mom things that he doesnt tell the kids." Apparently, God used to tell my mother that we were very bad children and did all sorts of things wrong that my sister and I never really did. I think that since we were being punished for made-up crimes, we were too scared to actually do anything really bad!

Nat- You are not the only bad one. I stole as a kid but never got caught. I am not proud of it either. I would steal makeup when I was about 13-14ish years old. I prob would say total, I stole about $50 worth lol. What made me stop, was a friend of mine got caught stealing a scrunchie (ya know, those 80's early 90's hair ties) at Claire's and ended up getting the police called on her and taken out in cuffs. That scared the crap out of me and made me never steal again.

I've never stolen from a store, but my Dad has a gallon jug filled with coins that he cashes in when it's full and I used to steal from there all the time when I was younger to go up to the gas station and buy candy.

In college when I would go home to my parents for the weekend I would raid their pantry and take a bunch of food Smile Although, I'm sure they knew I was doing it!

crap that reminds me of something I stole when I was around 10. We were playing at my grandmother's house and I was going through her jewellery box...not doing anything bad, just looking. I saw what I thought was just a cheap gold band so I put it in my pocket and forgot about it.

My mom found it in the wash and was horrified because it was my grandmother's wedding ring. I had no idea but now am feeling uber guilty thinking about it now!

when I was in kindergarten, there was this rubber monkey in the blocks area. All of the kids loved playing with the rubber monkey, so it was really hard to get a turn with him. So one day I put the rubber monkey in my pocket and took him home so I could play with him...but when I got home, I felt so bad that I stuck him in a drawer. I wanted to return him to school but was scared that I would get caught...I found it when I was going through some things while packing for college Biggrin
Zobi - no worries. I did plenty of other things that were a bad idea, if not downright illegal, in my teens...just not stealing. You might need to rephrase the question Biggrin

I was wayyyy to chicken to steal. But I really wanted free stuff so I would hang out with the bad kids and they would steal me stuff. I remember this guy stole a fuzzy dinosaur from a shop on a school field trip.... I'm sure if I root through my mothers basement I'd find it... that thing made me happy.

I just stole money from my parents really. There was an emergency stash of money for "just in case," yeah, just in case I need to go by some mcdonalds..... I didn't do it for more than a few months, I started to feel guilty.

I was computer-less for a few days so I missed this one! When I was 13, I stole a tube of lipstick because my mom wouldn't buy any for me. Thing is, I was so scared I didn't look at the colors, I just grabbed one. Turned out I grabbed the pumpkin orange color. Pretty much realized I was not a good thief. Now, other questionable behavior as a teen...I've got lots of that Wink
