So this is actually related to DD not Colin, but it could have just as easily been him so I thought I’d post it here and see if anyone can help.
Georgia just got a fairly big splinter on the sole of her foot from the deck at the cottage. She’s only 3 so her foot is still pretty tender. It’s not poking through the skin for me to easily tweeze out. I’m really hesitant to tweeze/needle it out, I’m so afraid of mutilating her foot and really hurting her.
I googled it and found a recommendation that uses baking soda to draw the splinter out and am considering doing that instead. Has anyone ever used a non-tweezing method to remove a splinter from their baby/toddler? Do I really have to remove it or can I leave it and let it come out naturally?
