Well, my little buttercup is STILL 95th percentile for height, 50th for weight (has always been), and her head went back up to 95th (was 95, then 80, then 75, now back to 95). Sounds just like a chip off the old block--both of us are tall and of normal weight with big heads too
I'm just glad to see that her switch from EBF to a largely solid food diet hasn't changed her stats at all...she did seem healthy, but I was curious! (She does still nurse, but maybe only about half of what she used to, and she eats three BIG meals a day. I didn't plan it, but she adores food and is really take-it-or-leave-it about nursing, so...here we are!)
Doctor is soooooo lackadaisical about everything, but I couldn't resist mentioning "I shouldn't be worried that she's not crawling or pulling up yet, right? That's still normal?" and he was like "Yeah, if she can move all her limbs, is interactive and interested, and is living in a loving home where she gets lots of touch and attention, that's all you need to worry about." Well check, check, and check.
Oh, she got her first experience with a needle today--a finger prick to check for anemia--and I was so surprised when all she did was flinch a little, and look at the nurse like "...what the heck was that?" But no crying! She was madder to have her hand held (she wanted to grab the stethoscope) than about the needle. (And, no anemia. Yay!)
