Birthday exchange question!

Hello all you birthday exchangers!

I know who I am matched with, but they don't know I'm their match, so everyone in the exchange can answer these questions.

I want to knit something for the exchange, but only if you wouldn't mind.

Do you cloth diaper?
Would you want knit longies/shorties/skirtie for your little one?

If you don't cloth diaper, or don't use woolies, is there something else knit that you would like? What? Cardigan, hat and mitts?

Would you be willing to get something out of wool? (Nice, pretty, soft wool!)

If yes, I need measurements!

Waist
Hips
Rise (measure rise from top of waistband through crotch to up to back waistband)
Inseam
Arm length

The sooner the better because I have to get knitting!!!

If you don't want something knit, that would be fine too, just let me know if you would rather have something else.

Janel

I'm guessing your match is not me, based on these questions, but if it is, I would love something knit but only if it is a blanket or toy or something like that--WAAAAAY too hot here for thick clothing! Smile

What a great idea to ask questions Janel! If anyone else is stuck or needs other details, feel free to post questions to better help you find a great gift(s)!

As for me, I don't cloth diaper or use woolies. A hat/mitt set for winter would be cool as well as a blanket or something nice like that. It does tend to get warm in summer here so anything knit in terms of clothing may be too warm. Ohh, a knitted headband or something would be cool. I seriously CAN"T find any of those really nice headbands that I see alot of babies on the board wearing. You know, the ones that go around their heads with pretty flowers on them? If I was your person, you'd know that's something I would love to get for Hailey since I added it into my questionnaire lol.

I dont really cloth diaper( we are at the moment)
But a skirtie would be cool...
a Cardigan for the fall would be nice(i would say something in 24months), hat and mitts would be sweet...
wool would also be fine...

I would love to give sizes but it is so hard when she would use it this summer...

(this was strange having to act like this was for me... lol)

It gets very hot here too in the summer so I guess something knitted would have to be for the winter. I guess a hat and mittens, but I have no idea how big his head will be in 6 months! Sorry!

If you have me I would love something hand-knitted! In the summer is gets quite hot here, so a sweater for fall/winter or hat and mitts would be good. Right now she is in 12 month size clothes, so by fall she would most likely be in 18 month size stuff. We also don't cloth diaper.

I have thought about looking online, however we don't do much online shopping and for most clothing type things I kind of like to see before I buy, but I'm thinking since I've looked in a few stores and can't seem to find anything I just may have to resort to online lol. Small towns suck sometimes lol.

If it's me, I'd love knitted! Smile We don't cloth diaper, (looking into getting into it for the next kid) but we have cold weather all year round (one year it got below freezing overnight on July 4th!) So we really appreciate knitted items. I'm actually learning to knit soon... have to get sewing down first. Smile

We don't CD here. I'd love something knitted although I'm knitting a blanket right now so maybe not that. A hat would be good or a sweater or something, however we wouldn't really use it til October at the earliest. M's big, too, so I'd guess in October she'll be in 24M stuff.
