In desperation I googled, and read that someone had dipped the end of the syringe in sugar to solve that problem.
I did it first with an empty syringe to solve the "sight of it = NOOOOO!!!" problem, then I tried it with medicine. Drank it all down and asked for more. That was yesterday, and we've had three doses since then. Now she DIVES for the syringe.
