Any news?? I am thinking of you today. Update us when you hear anything.
I ditto this! KUP - please!!
Hoping all is fine!!!
Sorry it took me so long ladies - every time I get on the computer, I'm checking in with family or one of the kids starts wailing - haha! We've been 'preparing' for the hurricane today too. I got a call from my doctor, who told me that, after reviewing my ultrasound, is referring me to a surgeon - apparently there is "sludge" in my gallbladder (I'm guessing they'll probably remove it). My appt. with the surgeon is tomorrow (but with this storm coming, it's hard to say when they will be able to schedule me to do anything like surgery - depending on power outages, and all). We are still waiting on the results of the bloodwork to see if there is anything else going on with my liver. She said she saw signs of fatty liver (but did not say fatty liver disease), so I want to clarify what she saw at my next appt. But there doesn't appear to be any liver damage or cancer (SO THANKFUL there). I'm hoping that having the gallbladder removed will be the end of the issues! Fingers crossed....
Here's a link to explain what 'fatty liver/fatty liver disease' is (non-alcoholic, haha)http://www.webmd.com/hepatitis/fatty-liver-disease
Thanks for the thoughts and concern gals - it means a lot!
Glad to hear it's nothing too serious (so far). Will keep you in my thoughts/prayers that your bloodwork etc. comes out fine. Please KUP! Hugs to you:)
Gall bladder problems are awful. I hope you feel tons better after the surgery, I know I did! I hope the liver is fine and you don't have any more problems!
Yup that's what I had a feeling it was! Get it removed I feel 10 times better since having mine removed. Make sure you have help though recovery is rough. Get it removed before that sludge turns into gallstones!! KUP!
Both of my parents have had theirs out too. Glad to hear that news seems to be relatively good. Stay safe in the storm and keep us posted.
I had mine out right after DD was born in Sept of 2005. I hope that they are able to get you in and taken care of quickly, it is always better when you don't have to worry for a long period of time. I am glad that they found that your liver didn't show cancer that has to be a huge relief. Hang in there keep us posted. I am thinking of you.
