It was pretty uneventful. Just a HB check and measure fundal height. She ended up bringing up induction, and I kinda checked out. I REALLY don't want to have that argument just yet. I just told her we can talk about it when/if I hit 40 weeks. She says she usually schedules her patients for induction a couple days after their due date, which seems REALLY unnecessary. They have my due date down for a few days later than I know I am, so at least I have that in my favor.
I still feel like I am going to go early... I've had memorial day weekend in my head from the beginning, so we'll see if that actually happens. I had contractions 4 minutes apart, lasting 60-90 seconds for about 3 hours on Sunday, but then tapered off as the evening went on, so maybe things are gearing up for labor.
On a very positive note, my GBS came back negative (I was pos. for DS1 & 2), so that is a HUGE relief. I don't have to worry about getting to the hospital with enough time to get antibiotics, or be hooked up to any IV's... I am also going to try to get out of the hospital ASAP, and when I was GBS+, they kept me the full 48 hours or longer because of it. So that's my kinda long update.
And I got all A's and B's in my classes this semester... so I feel like I proved to everyone that I am capable of overcoming stress and everything else to be successful in school. I had a LOT of negative feedback about nursing school once people found out that I was preggo.
