Aaaaand... there go my feet.

I realized in the shower today, that if I'm standing up straight, I can no longer see my feet if I look down. That is how big the belly is now. I only have to lean forward a little to be able to see them, but, they have generally disappeared from view. I've also noticed that I just can't lean forward like I used to be able to do... bending over to pick up toys or whatever from the floor- getting harder! Also, we've definitely gotten to that point where um, DTD last night... kind of awkward!!!

Anyone else having any "holy crap, I'm REALLY pregnant" symptoms lately?

I have been noticing more and more in the last week or so! I had to have DH put my shoes on the other day bc I just ate and didn't want to risk losing my lunch because I had to bend over. We had to be a bit more creative at our last attempt at DTD... just too much belly these days! Last night we went out for a fish fry and I was uncomfortably full after a cup of soup and one piece of fish (normally I can eat 3-4 pieces plus all the sides). In the shower I went to shave and do "lawn maintenance" and it was impossible. I'm going to have to have DH help me with that from now on. I'm sure there's more things, but those are the biggies.

Oh yes, I already had that once, when I tried to do my "care down there" and barely managed it.

I was going to say too, that my discomfort in the ribs (just feels like something is always pushing them up- maybe, hopefully my little person's feet!) is getting worse...and my belly feels like it's stretching all the time. Like, sometimes I think, "this thing cannot get bigger!" But hello... a whole trimester to go... I think I'm going to get frighteningly large.

I am also going to get frighteningly large. My stomach is gigantic. I don't remember being this big with my other two until the end. My OB said that it's my body remembering what it's supposed to do (3 kids in 4 years will do that I guess lol )my skin has nothing left to do but stretch... My OB also said jokingly that I'm going to come in for an appointment with a translucent stomach if it stretches much more. I've only gained 9 pounds ( although I was not skinny to begin with) but im only 5'1 so my stomach has no where to go but out.
My four year old laughs at me all the time telling me my belly " is just so BIG!" and that " baby Lego socks- my sons nickname for the baby- is going to be huge!"

I found that if I bring a step stool in the bathroom, sit on it and put my leg on the bath tub, I can shave quite well still. I'm on pelvic rest for placenta previa so no DTD here ( is it bad that I'm super ok with that?) I have slip on shoes ( I gave up being stylish during winter after the second kid.. Easier to just slip 'em on.

I am going to have to give up driving towards the end again. I did with both kids already.. Shortness, and big belly don't mix well when you sit close to the steering wheel. It's a huge pain but oh well

I have had the "mass in my ribs" for a few weeks, but just a few days ago, I think baby is moving toward head down and I am getting really hard kicks to the ribs. I think he goes between transverse and (hopefully) head down. It's been really painful when he gets up into the ribs. My other two never kicked that hard. Because he's moving up there, I am super winded all the time. Especially after I eat... there's just not enough room for a full stomach and breathing. My belly is also much bigger earlier... I am a little scared to see how big I'll get. I have a large rib cage though, so I'm sure baby will just keep moving up instead of out.

I noticed I couldn't see my legs/feet last week...and when I tried to shave, I was winded within a few minutes of trying to manuever around my belly! I'm looking into waxing now, I hate hair in that area. I really don't remember being this big with DD at this point, although I've only gained 10 pounds, I just feel huge. I have to squat to pick things up, bending over hurts.

Oh yes. I have a hard time bending down to get things, putting on my shoes is a challenge (thank goodness it's getting warm enough for flats and flip flops!), shaving my legs is just annoying, all of it. I have completely given up on "lawn maintenance" for now. I mean, I can't SEE it so how am I supposed to shave or trim it?? I remember taking a picture of my belly from above last time around and you couldn't see my feet. I'm already there but the sad thing is, I'm pretty sure it happened much later last time!!! I compared a photo of my belly this time to photos of my last pregnancy and I'm like the same size as I was 10 weeks later. YIKES. I guess that is what happens when it is a second (or subsequent) pregnancy, huh? Also, I waddle. I'm already a waddler.

LOL-- I'm plenty big.....but not too uncomfy just yet.

I can't see my feet when I'm standing, but I'm still okay to squat and get shoes on and whatnot. I shaved this morning, too.....probably not perfect, but better than it was. Wink

I"m still hauling myself to the gym three times/week and I think that helps keep me going.

My biggest discomfort is bras right now. I put on three different bras yesterday trying to find something comfy. I've bought new (bigger) ones, nursing bras, etc and they just aren't comfy. It's like there isn't enough room between my belly and my breasts for a bra strap.....or something?

Yep. I think I'm about to switch to sports bras. The underwire in my normal ones is being pushed up by my belly into my boobs. Yuckers.

I also can't see my feet but am still able to shave with some awkward positions and today I got pantyhose on, but I think it's the last time I'll be able to do that.

OMG pantyhose = miserable.

I have to wear them sometimes for work-- but I switched to thigh highs about a month ago. Sooooo much more comfy!

Haha, I've been feeling totally "pregnant" these days. I'm shaving my legs no problem, I just prop them up and out in the shower, but have given up on "down there" maintenance with a razor. I trim while peering into the mirror. TMI, I know. Sorry about that.
I'm not short of breath yet, only when I'm lap swimming or something like that.
I'm a waddler, and I catch myself waddling. ALREADY. I put it right usually and point my toes straight ahead as soon as I'm aware of it...
And I can't see my toes, and my boobs are huge. Epic-huge. Yuck. Smile

Yep... can't see them at all. I definitely can't do maintenance. I can shave my legs still sitting down but it's difficult. I haven't done my toenails in over a month and they definitely need it. I'm totally waddling too.... AND I find myself swaying from side to side when I'm just standing there. It's weird!

OMG, bras were like my nemesis during my last pregnancy!!!! I HATED THEM. I spent so freaking much money on new bras... in all sorts of sizes, styles, etc. Nothing was comfortable. I have small breasts (even engorged with milk I only ever reached a full C), and they didn't get big until my milk came in, so I think by the end of my pregnancy I was just wearing a little bralet from Vic Secret. Like you know, just a spaghetti strap, shelf bra kind of thing. And exactly as you said, the problem was never with the cups, it was that the band always felt uncomfortable- like there wasn't room for it, or it was too tight, it just sucked! I finally got a Bravado Body Silk Seamless nursing bra, and I now have three. It's not an underwire, and I take out the little cup insert, shaper thing. The end result is not the most beautiful boob shape, but, it's the most comfortable I can get. It's really the only bra I've worn since Beni was born.

so in a sense i am kinda in this boat. there are certain points where i can't see my feet, not completely yet though. i only notice this without shoes. speaking of which, can't seem to find a comfy pair now-a-days. went through 3 different styles that for work, nothing good. the last pair i ordered are ok, nothing glorious though. (the last pair took forever to be shipped in and my omg i am preggo moment was calling this company complaining after a week of not receiving the shoes. lol they comped me a 65 dollar pair of shoes.)

hmm...can shave somewhat. the "lawn" department has been tricky. have to hover in weird ways to get it done. dh caught me last night and laughed at me for it. lol. legs and what not, i end up having to take a hot bath, shave each leg twice and so far it's cut down my shaving to every other day or so, thank god. yeah my crew has caught me waddle a few times, as well as help peel me off the ground.

and to think this is only in it's early phases pheww...i can only imagine, but i say whatever, haha bring it! lol

Speaking of bras, I had to buy a new one today. I am super duper picky about bras. I have bought many brands over the years and I always end up hating them so Victoria Secret is the only place I can find ones that I don't want to burn. I went today and bought a Body by Victoria bra and it's very comfortable but it does have an underwire. My A cups were cutting into my boobs so now I'm a B. Hey, that's big for me! Wink At least I had a $10 off coupon but it sucks to only have one bra that is going to fit me well for now. I couldn't justify buying two though. At $42 a bra, I will make do with what I have for now. I do like the shelf bras for around the house so at least those can stretch to fit my size.

I think you guys jinxed me.. I was fine in the bra department but the last 2-3 days have been awful! I'm going to have to go buy something without an underwire because no matter which one I wear they are just digging into my boobs.

Is it bad that I'm just letting my girls just hang out? I really loathe buying bra's and even though I'm plunging over, I keep telling myself I can make them work a little while longer!!

You do whatever works for you... I only ever changed anything because I was so uncomfortable I was ready to burn all my bras, except that I'm also not comfortable going in public bra-less. It was a lose/lose situation.

Sorry, Jaime! I hope you can get comfortable again! Didn't mean to jinx anyone!

My boobs are too large/saggy to go braless or I totally would.
