so with all said and done i must share this with everyone. before i start this i will let everyone know in advance me and the baby are ok. last night i had a bit of a scare which ended me up in the hospital over 7 and 1/2 hours. (tmi warning) so a rough couple of days at work, worked my self to the max due to being short staffed prior to why i went to the dr but the most alarming of this and the reason for me goinng to the dr last night, early this morning was i had a bit of a bleed, nothing like before after sex. the bleed was bright red and like i said like nothing before so i made dh take me to the hospital as soon as he was off work, thank god timing was right. after i saw what was going on i didn't have wait long. this started when he just got off work. anyhow, scared as can be we got to the hospital, they rushed me to labor and deliver as soon as i got there. were able to detect a hb so that got me through the rest of the hellish wait and tests. i went through every kind of monitoring to make sure everything was ok and to make sure i wasn't having pre-term labor and thank the lord everything was and is good. they had to do bloodwork, 2 pelvic exams (the 1st didn't take due to the bleed at the time, but by time they did the 2nd i stopped bleeding and was ok from there on out) and 3 ultrasounds as well as was monitored on a contraction monitor.
i did get to see my baby alot through this whole ordeal and got a glimpse into what the maternity ward and the staff my hospital has for when my time does come. all and all i am very pleased with both the ward and their staff, they took very well care of me and made sure i was very comfortable. they didn't treat me as if i were a nutcase as i've heard others have said about the hospital i chose. and a little update on the low lying placenta they said i had at my last appointment resolved, and weight gain lol jan 9th my baby weighed in at 8oz this morning 13 oz. the bleeding has significantly stopped...still have what looks to be a little bit of old dried brown blood seldomly so i figure this is normal. nothing to freak over! whew! i am so glad everything went ok and my hyper lil bugger is growing well....sharing the pic i got this morning.(SORRY IF THE PIC IS REALLY BIG..REALLY TRIED TO DOWNSIZE IT)
