Man...I'm not sure what is going on with my little man...but I dare say he's on the verge of being a colicky baby! He's usually fine all day- eats, sleeps, poops kind of thing, not much crying- but come dinner time, he starts getting fussy, and it lasts and escalates (to screaming, etc) for several hours. Last night was the worst it's been- he cried from about 5 or 6 until 10! Except for about 20-30 minutes when we went for a walk, and I was wearing him.
I'm already taking him to the chiro, because we've had some pretty bad episodes of spitting up (like so hard it comes out his nose, and so much that I have to change my shirt AND pants). I wear him most days, and certainly keep him close always.
I'm scared that someone is going to suggest that it's what I'm eating, and I'm going to have to try to cut out dairy, soy and gluten... since that seems to be the magic threesome. My SIL and nephew eat that way (permanently) and watching the way they eat and the way they have to schedule their lives around food makes me want to stab my own eye out. But, if I have to, I will certainly do it for my baby!
It's all new to me, this kind of unhappiness, because DD was super content as long as she was near me, and could ALWAYS be pacified with a boob- little Z won't even take the boob when he gets this upset.
Not really looking for advice so much...more like commiseration... anyone else dealing with a colicky baby?
