Feeling baby breathing

I had a "new" feeling last night that I did not with my son. I felt this baby breathing in my tummy. Felt it and saw it. It was so very cool!!!!!

Has anyone else felt that before?

I have been wondering about this...not sure if it is baby sucking his thumb or practice breathing? I keep feeling a slower, rhythmic movement that is NOT hiccups (I feel those too, and they are faster and more obvious). It made me kinda nervous at first because I couldn't figure out what he would be doing in there, but breathing or thumb sucking seems to fit the bill. Although DS was an avid thumb sucker in utero, and I never felt it with him. Glad to know someone else is feeling this too!

Wild! I've never felt that-- but it sounds cool. Enjoy!

I felt this too, but didn't even think that it could be her breathing. Too cool!!!

Yes! I feel her breathing in there! Knowing where her back is, it moves rhythmically and totally noticeably and sometimes it gives me the willies Smile
I'm like, what exactly are you breathing in there, baby? I know she's practicing with amniotic fluid but geez the whole thing weirds me out a bit!
I am very glad to know her lungs are so healthy though.

Smile Yup pretty cool! Husband felt it too, very obvious........at first it freaked me out but then I looked it up and realized it is fairly common. It was fairly reassuring to "feel" the lungs were that strong.
