GTKY/time waster! :)

Did you know/realize it was a leap year this year?

If you could live in any kind of climate/environment (even if such a place doesn't exist) where would it be/what would it be like?

Do you have any nicknames?

Which would be easier for you to give up- TV or your computer/internet?

When you were young, what did you want to be when you grew up? What are you now?

Have you ever done/will you do a maternity photo session? Newborn pics for your LO/family?

What cuisine could you eat every day for the rest of your life?

Do you consider yourself an optimist or a pessimist?

What's your favorite dessert?

Do you have a favorite number? What is it?

Did you know/realize it was a leap year this year? Only just last night! And then it make me remember that on the last leap year, I gave DH a "promise" ring... because his mother kept going on at me about how according to some Irish (I think?) tradition, Feb 29 is the only day it's ok for a woman to propose to a man. I knew he was already on his way with a proposal- or hoped so anyway- so I didn't want to take that away from him, but I gave him a ring saying, "this is a promise that if you ask the right question, I'll say yes." It was cheesy. He proposed at the end of April. Smile Can't believe it's been 4 years since then!

If you could live in any kind of climate/environment (even if such a place doesn't exist) where would it be/what would it be like? My answer is definitely a totally made up place, I think. I would love to live in a place that has 4 distinct seasons, but where even the true, proper winter (cold, snowy) only lasts from Thanksgiving until the end of Jan- basically just exactly for the months of December and January. Where spring and autumn are really comfortable, and summer is good and hot, but not too humid. Smile Also, I would like beaches and forests nearby, but also a major city.

Do you have any nicknames? Not really. My name is too short to do anything fun with- or maybe it's not just that it's short, but just not conducive to nicknames in general.

Which would be easier for you to give up- TV or your computer/internet? Definitely TV- but I use the internet to communicate with friends and family, etc... things that because of our distance and time difference are hard to do in person/on the phone.

When you were young, what did you want to be when you grew up? What are you now? I always wanted to be a teacher and a mother. I was a teacher for 7 years, and am now a mother!

Have you ever done/will you do a maternity photo session? Newborn pics for your LO/family? I did a maternity shoot and a newborn shoot with DD. I love all the pics, but they were EXPENSIVE. Our financial situation is TOTALLY different now, and we can't afford a professional photog again. Sad I'd love it though!

What cuisine could you eat every day for the rest of your life? My standard answer to this question used to be Indian...but, I seem to be really intolerant of a lot of foods during this pregnancy that I loved before. So I honestly don't know.

Do you consider yourself an optimist or a pessimist? Most of the time it really depends on the topic. With money, I tend to be an optimist, for no particular reason- I always believe things will work out. There are other areas of my life though, where I definitely tend to be a pessimist, and my negativity drives DH crazy.

What's your favorite dessert? Pavlova- YUM!

Do you have a favorite number? What is it? I've always been partial to 3. Smile

Did you know/realize it was a leap year this year? Yes Smile

If you could live in any kind of climate/environment (even if such a place doesn't exist) where would it be/what would it be like? I like your answer, Mara.. I think I'd love to live somewhere that had 4 seasons but they weren't crazy, extreme seasons. I imagine beautiful spring days, summer days that hit the 90's, fall days that are starting to get cool and then a chilly winter where it snows. I'd love to live neat the mountains yet not far from some kind of water.

Do you have any nicknames? No Smile

Which would be easier for you to give up- TV or your computer/internet? TV, for sure.

When you were young, what did you want to be when you grew up? What are you now? I wanted to be a teacher and a writer. I am neither of those things. Instead I'm something I had no plans on being, a mother Smile

Have you ever done/will you do a maternity photo session? Newborn pics for your LO/family? We took DD to a studio for her newborn shots... we will probably do the same when Lucas arrives.

What cuisine could you eat every day for the rest of your life? Probably Mexican.

Do you consider yourself an optimist or a pessimist? Pessimist, for sure.

What's your favorite dessert? Hmmm.... donuts?

Do you have a favorite number? What is it? No Smile

Did you know/realize it was a leap year this year? The subject came up in my accounting class this week actually.

If you could live in any kind of climate/environment (even if such a place doesn't exist) where would it be/what would it be like? I live in the Appalachian Mountain system and I have experienced enough snow to last me a lifetime. I would live in a place where it never ever snows, I love sunny and rainy days on a beautiful coastline.

Do you have any nicknames? The regulars at the restaurant always have a few silly little nicknames, mostly to do with me being tall and thin, but nothing that everyone calls me.

Which would be easier for you to give up- TV or your computer/internet? I don't really use either on a regular basis, I could definately give up television. The computer is a big help with school.

When you were young, what did you want to be when you grew up? What are you now? I'm not sure, I think I just wanted to be important. I never gave myself limitations, I was going to do everything. Right now, I'm a waitress and a junior in college studying to get a bachelor's degree in business management. The plan is to eventually open my own restaurant, I love to cook.

Have you ever done/will you do a maternity photo session? Newborn pics for your LO/family? I won't be doing maternity photos but we will definately be getting newborn pics.

What cuisine could you eat every day for the rest of your life? I love chinese food.

Do you consider yourself an optimist or a pessimist? I'm definately an optomist, pregnancy has challenged that quite a bit but I'm learning to deal with that.

What's your favorite dessert? I make this fluffy chocolate mousse and put it on top of a graham cracker cookie bar that I've created and chill it, delicious. tastes a little like a s'more i suppose? no marshmallows tho, yuck.

Do you have a favorite number? What is it? 42, it's just a pretty number.

Did you know/realize it was a leap year this year? Yes. Not until about a month ago when my neighbor mentioned it while we were talking about her daughter's due date and the possibility that she could have a leap day baby.

If you could live in any kind of climate/environment (even if such a place doesn't exist) where would it be/what would it be like? It might get old but I really like the idea of living in a place like Hawaii where it's 60's to 80's all year. It seems like Texas always skips the best temperatures! We go from too cold to too hot.

Do you have any nicknames? Not besides what my dad calls me. He's always called me his littlest angel. Smile

Which would be easier for you to give up- TV or your computer/internet? TV. I would miss TV but I could probably watch most of what I like on the internet anyway.

When you were young, what did you want to be when you grew up? What are you now? I wanted to be a mom. I thought about being a teacher but I never had any elaborate career goals. Now I'm a mom! I have also taught and may teach again at some point.

Have you ever done/will you do a maternity photo session? Newborn pics for your LO/family? I took a lot of belly shots last time but I didn't do any professional photos. I won't this time either. We did do newborn pics and one year pics with Jordan that I LOVE. I really would like to do them again, if possible.

What cuisine could you eat every day for the rest of your life? Probably Italian. I would be so unhealthy but I love carbs and cheese.

Do you consider yourself an optimist or a pessimist? I am a worrier but I do think I have an optimistic side. I guess I'm a little bit of both.

What's your favorite dessert? Tiramisu. Or a really good chocolate cake.

Do you have a favorite number? What is it? I've had a particular liking for the number 3 for a long time.

Did you know/realize it was a leap year this year? Yes!

If you could live in any kind of climate/environment (even if such a place doesn't exist) where would it be/what would it be like? I think I'd live at the south of France in Nice. That place is heaven on earth, and they serve the most exquisite fried vegetable flowers.

Do you have any nicknames? Yes but I hate them all-

Which would be easier for you to give up- TV or your computer/internet? I don't know. I guess Internet.

When you were young, what did you want to be when you grew up? What are you now? I wanted to be a social worker, and I eventually was, on a part time/volunteer basis. My profession and education is in accounting. Now I stay at home with my daughter and soon to be baby daughter.

Have you ever done/will you do a maternity photo session? Newborn pics for your LO/family? Ugh no maternity photos please! I can't handle the way I look all big and bloated. I am a photographer so we do more than enough newborn photos though.

What cuisine could you eat every day for the rest of your life? Food is so gross right now. This pregnancy all I like is toast and cereal! So I'm not able to answer this question. Talk to me in August Smile

Do you consider yourself an optimist or a pessimist? I'm an optimist, but I credit my faith in God for that. He promises things will always work out, so there you go.

What's your favorite dessert? Hm. Jelly beans at Easter time, probably.

Do you have a favorite number? What is it? 9 and 13. Like someone else said, these numbers are pretty to me.
