Curious how all that traveling went! jet lag must be killing you all...
We are here! We arrived Friday afternoon, but we didn't get our internet turned back on until today- hence my silence.
Surprisingly, we're doing ok jet-lag wise. I've been going to bed pretty early for me- between 8 and 10, when I usually go to bed after 12, but that isn't really a bad thing! The good thing is that we've manged to work the time zones in our favor for DD- she's back to an 8pm bedtime, after being on a 10pm one most of the summer back in the US!
Both kids were great on the flights, but, they're having a bit of a tougher time since being home. It's been a little crazy too, because my in-laws arrived on Saturday morning, so things just got busy as soon as we got back.
On the one hand, I'm thankful my in-laws are here, because they are helping out- minding the kids- playing with DD and holding the sleeping baby and such- so that I can get a bunch of work done around the house. On the other hand, it would be nice to just be on our own a little bit. Ah well. They'll be in town for 2 weeks, but, I think they are only staying in our house 1 week, and then going to my BIL/SIL's for the second week.
So yeah... we're back, getting things in order, trying to find some semblance of routine... and of course, I'll be back here more!
Yay!!!! Glad you made it there safe and sound. Happy unpacking.
I'm glad you're settling back in! You guys are world travelers. There's talk of my family being sent to Japan, and my first thought was all that traveling. Ick. You make it sound easy...
Jubilee, you're on the west coast, and Japan would be a direct flight... that IS easy. But I know it can be daunting. We are world travelers, and are used to doing it. It gets easier.
