at my last ultrasound the baby measured a whole week ahead but the doc did NOT change my due date in the chart...it kind of annoyed me...because I know I must have o'd early to get pg with this baby...but he said 1 week or less and they dont change the date in the chart they just stick with the date from lmp. Its all up to the baby in the end anyways!! Smile

yeah they didnt change mine either. a tad annoyed too. but glad the baby is ok and growing well....the past week or so i finally got to expierence what round ligament pain is and it hasnt been plesant.

felt movement too....so awesome. i felt the baby move when they did the u/s. was really reassuring. going crazy though waiting for my next appointment.

I have started to feel movement pretty often too...its soo awesome!! I am a wreck for my next appointment...once again. The doc is sending me to a maternal-fetal specialist due to my old age Smile He is such a great/nice doctor....but my goodness an appointment does NOT go by when he does not remind me that Im old!! Smile But seriously....Im super nervous that some of the things that he is obviously so worried about...could become a reality!! Sad

The due date often isn't changed until it is over 10 days out... Babies aren't all the same size after all and the number they come up with is based on average size for gestation.

agreed, however, I thought the early ultrasounds were supposed to give the best prediction of actual due date, since o time can be so varied in a cycle too...so going from that lmp...might not be so accurate either. For me...the ultrasound made perfect sense for when I dtd...and lmp...doesnt really make sense at all. Smile

Yes, they are most accurate before 13 weeks and then get less so as the baby's growth takes off.

I'd go with the latest edd you can get Smile That way near the end when OB's start pushing for an induction or start suggesting you are "overdue"...you have a few extra days of "cushion".....

Stick with the later date. It will help you psychologically if you make it to your EDD. Smile (says the mama who's first three babies were "late"--lol!)

Totally! I always tack the extra 10 days on too Smile

(my first 3 were late too... then #4 was 10 days early and caught me off guard... Poor gal didn't even have a name yet!)
