Hello ladies. I absolutely LOVE seeing nursery photos. Anyone have any to share of their LO's room?
Here's ours if its a girl... (minus the Kaitlyn letters...those are the last piece that have to move to Kaitlyns new room). Just got her transitioned to her big sisters room to share a few weeks ago. Its gone smoother than I anticipated with pulling her out of the crib at 19mths!
And...if its a boy hubby wants a Chicago Bears room. He originally wanted 2 walls orange and 2 walls blue...I am trying to convince him into something more like this....
Very cute! Want to laugh??? This is the extent of our "nursery"...
A co-sleeper (which I swear, I'll use, but probably won't!), and a basket full of dipes/clothes. Yup- that is EVERYTHING we have for baby!
Im doing it this weekend! Every day there is a new delivery on the front porch. So now I have a pile of boxes and a bag of clothes in an empty room. This weekend = assembly, washing, and set-up. I cant wait to have it done. !!!!!!! Cute part: hsband wanted it to be a surprise, so technically I dont know what any of the furniture looks like. Though, its his first - my second - so Im ok with him enjoying it and having fun with it....as long as it is safe.
Jess, where is that first crib from? Do you know who makes it? It's different than most that I've seen. I think I will end up getting a white one but a lot of them come in a variety of colors. Share if you know!
Mara, your "nursery" looks pretty much like mine. We are in the process of trying to move and the only spare bedroom we have is still set up as a guest room. Nora will sleep with us for a while anyway so the cosleeper is the extent of her nursery at this point. I am really missing being able to put a nursery together but I will get to make a room for her at some point. I have colors and ideas in my head but nothing is actually bought or done!

Its a baby's dream furniture convertable crib. I bought it and the rest of the set from a co-worker 6 years ago for cheap. It's all real wood and really has held up great especially since this will be baby #5 total to use it. I did a quick search and it looks similar to this one: http://www.babysdream.com/ViewItem.aspx?pid=19
Darn it! I can't swing that much for a crib. I love it though and thank you for posting the link.
I've just started mine today! I'm cutting it close, I'll post progress pictures next week. Our theme is outerspace, I'm a bit of a nerd and I hope baby is too.
Ours is *cheesy* Winnie the Pooh. But I don't have any new pics. Here is a dark pic from when I fixed it up for my daughter... No I didn't leave the crib bumpers in - that was just for the pics. Her name is no longer on the wall because she tore the decorative pieces off of the letters (my mom is going to redo them). She also tore down the wallpaper border, but I redid it recently. The dresser is in a different spot (so that area is now open) and I never even used that lamp lol.
I've also got the green version of those curtains, green Pooh crib bedding, and a green changing table cover. So, much less pink.
Here are a couple of our nursery, Dh and DS picked almost everything out, its dh's first baby. He's pretty excited. I need to get out the good camera and take pictures. Ignore the "baby friendly" wires. I have the matching dresser and a blue lamp and other decor to match. DH is putting the rocker together tomorrow. I think we're ready!
We repainted our spare room/my office and put the crib in the corner with a dresser so my desk still fits. Baby and I will have to share until I'm done with school. I have a few little decals that I put up on the wall over the crib because I felt bad kinda shoving this baby in the corner of "my space". We have never really done anything special besides put up a crib for any of our kids though. Just not the traditional nursery type of people I guess. I have a bunch of clothes laying around in laundry baskets waiting to be washed, and all the other baby supplies are piled in the crib.
We just redid our wood floors, so we have a lot of extra crap piled around that needs to be put away before I can really get the baby's area completed. I guess we'd better hurry up with that... only 3ish weeks left!
Here is Wesley's room...just missing one thing...HIM! 13 more days!!!
Wesley's room is amazing! I'm starting to feel guilty about my lack of nursery
Great rooms, thanks for sharing ladies!
Aw these nurseries are so cute! Thanks for sharing pics, guys! You make me feel like a slacker, now! Since we moved DS into his new room a month ago, the nursery has become a "catch all" for things we need to do for the baby, but have nowhere else to store! It's currently a disaster! I went through half of the closet the other night, and finally weeded out what clothes I could reuse from DS, but I still have a lot of work! We bought a new dresser for the room, which my parents are bringing tomorrow when they come to visit for the weekend (actually, my parents bought it and did all the grunt work for us, including hauling it 4 hours out to us! ). Once that is in there, I'll do all the laundry. I think once I get that out of the way, it will be a lot easier! Then we'll just have to go through the old baby items we chucked into the top of the closet (bouncer, PnP attachments, etc.) and we'll be done! I do need to wash all my prefolds and covers, too, but I figure if worse comes to worse, I can always do that after he is born! We won't need them right away.
Yikes, I need to do all that!

Haha! This is me exactly!! I have a bunch of piles organized in the crib (clothes, diapers, muslin blankets)! So funny. Glad I'm not the only one hoarding things in the crib!
All these wall decals are going to be such a sign of the times some day... like shag carpet and avocado green appliances, you know? But, that said, I think they are SO CUTE! I love the trees and the elephants some of you have!
Mara - you are right...I can imagine what our kids will tell us one day...or what they would be embarassed by.
