pack and play

already kind of posted about this....Im still looking...one more question....anyone who has the pack n play...with bassinet and diaper changing station....did anyone have the new born insert? It almost looks like a car seat...it kind of cradles the baby when its still a newborn...? The pack and plays that have that are running around 160.00 without that...there is a big variation of price....just trying to figure out what I need. I kind of like the look of the new born spot...because it will sort of cradle the newborn and I would think the baby will probably will feel more secure...but I just dont know....any comments much appreciated!

Are you talking about the newborn napper? Our PnP has the newborn napper and changing station, and I *loved* it! DS slept in the newborn napper a LOT the first few weeks. I think he liked it because it vibrated and was nice and cozy and just cradled him. It was the perfect place to let him sleep during the day (our PnP was downstairs when he was born) where I could see him. We also used the changing station all the time the first few months, especially me so that I didn't have to trek up and down the steps a million times a day.

If you can swing it, I say go for the napper! We really loved ours!

Yes, maybe it is called the napper...it does have little buttons on it that I think control vibration etc... Then that comes out and it has a little deeper bassient...right? And then when the baby is bigger....does the whole thing come out so it can act as a play yard? Thanks for your input! Im totally leaning toward it right now!! Smile

I got a Graco travel lite crib it is a smaller pack and play with a bassinet. I have yet to use it but my friends who have one love them its about $70 depending on where you buy it.

Yes! DD slept in it the first several weeks, until she outgrew it... she loved it and so did I because she couldn't really move around a lot! Mine has one vibration unit that attaches to it all.. like you said you place it in whatever you're using. Let me find the one I have and I'll link it.

Okay this is similar to the one I have, not the same color and I *know* it wasn't on sale! http://www.target.com/p/Graco-Newborn-Napper-Pack-n-Play-Playard-Lowery/-/A-11205185 $105 bucks is a steal!

I really like the idea of the newborn napper. I dont think they had that when I bought mine a few years ago. My dd slept in her bouncy seat for the first few months because that was the absoluty only way she would sleep. I went thru a million batteries to keep it vibrating Smile The napper probably would have done a great job with her.
