PP Weight Loss

How is everyone doing so far?

I'm amazed at how quickly the weight came off this time. I came home for the hospital at pre-pregnancy weight and almost 2 weeks later, I am down 4 pounds from PP weight. Little boy nurses all.of.the.time....and I've been trying to eat healthy since I'm home all day. With DD, I never got back down to pre-pregnancy weight so I'm excited!!

So I gained 20lbs this pregnancy, and by 2 days pp I was down 16lbs. I've stepped on the scale since and seen numbers +/-4lbs from that first 16lbs....I'd love to see the number continue to go down...but I think it's going to take a concerted effort on my part.

Pshhh... Girl.... Who knows! I have no idea how much weight I gained or how much I've lost since. I'm just being sensible about food and plan to pick up my exercise routine around week 4 pp.

I gained about 40 pounds and I'm down about 25 pounds, 1.5 weeks postpartum. I was losing between 1-3 pounds per day up until yesterday. My belly is almost back to normal, besides being a bit more flabby looking, but I have a TON of work to do on my butt and legs (cellulite city!). My bleeding is almost gone, so once I don't have to wear a nasty pad, I'll start exercise walking and working my way up to running. I also have a couple Jillian Michael's work out DVD's that I plan to start probably closer to the 6 week mark. Don't want to over-do it, even though my body feels really good.

I gained just shy of 40 pounds (37 to be exact!) I don't weigh myself-- but I'm sure I've got a good 20 to go.

I won't worry about it at all--usually nursing takes it off for me. But at this point, I'm just eating well and resting. I'll worry about clothes fitting later. Smile

I gained about 40-45 pounds, I was weighed yesterday at the doctor's and I've lost 26 pounds so far! All of my weight gained is in my butt and thighs. Nick is happy but I hate it! Ha, I'll think about working out next month. It's not on my priority list atm.

I gained 32lbs. I weighed myself a couple days ago and only had 11 more pounds to lose.

I am 5'8" and weighed 155 pre-preggy (thank goodness for my height!)
I delivered at 185 and now weigh 160. I would love to be 145... Smile Seems like I am stuck at this weight.
Nursing has helped tremendously but need to shrink my mid-section. Doc cleared me to start walking (I am a runner so this is a bit difficult for me). Need to drink more water, though....and eat a bit more greens!

I have a uniform to get into in 6 more weeks!

I have a long way to go and a uniform to get into in 6 weeks too. I think I'm going to start jogging next week; recovery has been really really really easy this time. I'm already up to about 2 miles walking and have deep cleaned my house since the baby came home. He sleeps a lot and I can't seem to nap like I should and the older kid takes four hour naps so I am bored!!!

I have about 40lbs total I plan on losing before 6 months is up (I have to take my physical fitness test). Nursing doesn't help me lose weight because I tend to eat the extra calories the baby burns so I'm going to join weight watchers at 6 weeks and hopefully be up to a 5K run by 8 weeks. I'm already working on my arms but don't want to hurt the incision site so am not doing anything too taxing

LOL! We are on the same page! I joined WW yesterday (online). It helped me lose my weight from last pregnancy. Since I had a c/s, I can only walk. *ugh* Not looking forward to the PT test...pushups is what is going to kill me. I have a good friend who is a personal trainer and she is FIT! She told me a good way to perform pushups after delivery so need to start working on that. I have been on profile for p/u's for 3 years. Officers do not fail (from what my Commander keeps broadcasting)...hopefully he is right.
