Swimsuit

Ok. Just thought I'd share that I'm wearing a swimsuit out in public today. I would never have done that four years ago, but my kid wants to go to the waterpark and I'd do anything for him.

Isn't it amazing? I have no desire to be in a swimsuit yet either... but if I had to (like if DH weren't here to go in the water with DD) I would figure it out somehow too. Kids just make you get over yourself!

I am so dreading this too, but DS is a fish in the summer so I know I'll have to suck it up! It's great cover-ups are en vogue this year, right? Wink

I have seen that a lot of people like the Lands End suits for their concealment, plus I hear they make nice, easy suits to nurse in! I may have to invest in one if this baby ever decides to come out.

some of their merchandise is a little pricey but ModCloth has a lot of suits that are on the conservative side.. and they're cute Smile

Oh my... the thought of wearing a swimsuit is a little scary to me. I'm still bleeding/spotting so it's not really an option right now. In a few weeks I hope to be down another 5-10 pounds and will hopefully be a bit more comfortable at least in a suit and cover-up. I have a few suits that I bought for the summer after DS2, but I was about 15 pounds lighter at that time... not so sure they'll fit. It was a Land's End tankini and tummy control bottom and it was super comfy plus it fit my body well for that summer as I wasn't quite bikini ready yet.

Awesome! I think that is great. Hope you enjoy the water.

I'm still bleeding (only one week PP)-- but I do have a suit for the "I just had a baby summers"--lol. It is a simple black one piece from Old Navy. And while it isn't anything amazing, it conceals the tummy pretty well while highlighting the bust. Wink

Enjoy!

That is ridiculous, because you've posted photos already, and you look great!
