Oh I feel totally the same!!! And, everyone keeps making such a big deal about my husband arriving on Saturday, and treating it like it's my due date, which it is not by a good 1.5 weeks! So yeah... I TOTALLY feel ya!

I feel the same way too! I think most people thought I was due last week because it was the end of the semester, so they were just associating that with the end of my pregnancy as well. I had to do a lot of explaining that I still have a few weeks left. I'm hoping the next couple weeks go quick though... I'm just about ready for baby!

I feel like these last few weeks are just creeping by. But that's totally okay with me right now, I don't have a thing ready!

Time has two speeds - slow and stop. Then, just to make things not fair, as soon as the baby is born it flies by. TRICKERY!!!!

Some of you are soooooo close tho. (And it is really wonderful to see the June babies that are born having some good weight and good prognosis, even if they are early. June mamas rock.)

Agreed! Seems the first part of the pregnancy goes quickly and the last few weeks are slow...then the newborn stage goes super fast. I'm hoping for a slow next couple of weeks though Smile

I'm with ya, Rebecca- even though it's a mind-****, I really would like these next few weeks to go slowly without a baby... I want to enjoy my husband and my daughter and our little unit of three for just a little while longer before Kong comes. I guess we'll see though!

lol...i feel like i don't have enough time. uggh trying to find a new vehicle, still working a little along with a last few minute details, i feel rushed. although people are starting to irritate me with the "why havent you popped yet" questions. yeah i'm almost 38 weeks, and it'll be anyday, but don't rush it! lol.

i really wish i could say i wish time was dragging on for me.

The average first pregnancy last more than 41 weeks. So you EASILY have 3 weeks left! Or you could go next week. But honestly... I'd say focus on having a longer time, and not expecting "any day now" at all.

i hope so, i still have alot to take care of. new car, nesting a little more. possibly getting in a little me time before i have him...i think i have got alot of guff lately is because my moms side of the family history of preemie babies. alot of everyone on that side never made it past 36 weeks. but take it from me, this kiddo can cook as long as he wants, will not bother me.

Its so odd to me that they wouldn't just be happy for you that you're NOT having a preemie!! I mean, it's not the end of the world, but being able to birth a healthy baby that gets to leave the hospital when you do... that is worth something!!!

Mara, my DS was a healthy 36 weeker and he came home with us!! Biggrin

I agree though, time is moving kind of slowly. I keep thinking I'm a week ahead of what I really am. I'm all messed up! It's good, though, because I have a lot of work to do to get fully prepared for his arrival!

Oh Im totally ready when kiddo is ready. Obviously now is a little too early, but 36 weeks or more is fine with me! I delivered DS at 40 weeks.....they told me he was 7 lbs....he was actually over 9 lbs. I am terrified that will happen again...so Im A OK with a little earlier, a little smaller and a little shorter labor!!!! Plus, now I have everything ready, nursery.....supplies.....everything. Its all about hoping and praying time goes fast and - really - 38 to 39 weeks would be ideal for me. But, just because I want it earlier, probably means I jinxed myself into a 40-42 weeks delivery!!!! LOL. Oh yes, Im also perfectly fine with inducing. Again, that is what happened with DS. And in hindsight, if he was any larger I may have died!

you'd think, right? i overlook alot of it, afterall if i lived up to their terms i would've had kids younger, not gone to college, and married young....i am looking forward to a natural birth as mostly all of the family says i can not endure. now that jayden is head down and not breech i am going to go for it. i feel like i can, unless the dr's have to intervene.
