Yay! DH felt the baby!

We were watching tv and I had just had some ice cream and strawberries (yum!), and I could feel the little one kicking around in there, so I asked DH if he wanted to try to feel and he did! Big smile on his face. I love when the pregnancy becomes more real to him!

aww...so cute. when my dh felt the 1st kick i think it freaked him out. (since its our first) we were laying in bed and he felt it, jerked it off my belly and asked what was that...i told him not gas, stuck his hand back and let him feel it again....so cute.

is your baby super active yet? my kicks have been stronger certain parts of the day....curious what it feels like for a baby to flip and what not, i think i may have felt the baby flipping and turning but not sure.

I would say that baby is active- I feel him/her many times a day, and pretty hard- I mean, I'm not skinny, and it's hard enough for DH to feel... That said, I wouldn't be able to tell you what movements the baby is making- whether s/he's kicking, flipping or whatever. I mean, maybe it feels a little different when s/he rolls compared to a simple kick... but, I don't think I pay enough attention really either to try to decipher it all.

Woohoo for DH feeling the baby! That is awesome!! I myself haven't felt this baby from the outside yet, but hopefully soon, and then DH can feel it too!

Yay! My DH has been trying to feel for weeks. Poor guy. I keep telling him a lot of women aren't even feeling the baby on the inside yet, and it will be a bit longer before he'll be able to feel anything from the outside. But he still tries anytime I mention feeling the baby move, which happens mostly in the evening. Still too early in my case to be able to tell what exactly the baby is doing in there, still just feeling flutters and pokes. I remember when DS flipped head down though. He was a pretty quiet baby in there, he moved, definitely, but was pretty mellow (still is) so feeling a big movement like that was memorable. I felt like my whole stomach flipped upside down. It was such a strange feeling. Of course I was like 35 weeks pregnant at the time....
