4 weeks.

I have been on bed rest for 4 weeks today! I cant believe it has been that long, and there is no end in site. I have been cramping bad the past two days and having sharp pains. This morning I have bright red bleeding again. The doc told me to call when i had it, so I did, and all she said was to rest and drink lots of fluids. GERRRRR! The nurse made it seem like a big deal, calling her at home as she wasn't supposed to be in for another hour, and all i get is rest. The nurse said i should have called with cramping even. Sorry just had to vent.

on a positive note, last night Elora was sleeping on me and where here knee was the baby was pushing or bumping against. It was so neat. i think it is the beginning of sibling rivalry.

More bleeding!! Oh no, I'm so sorry... May God continue to protect your sweet little baby, and heal the bleeding problem soon!

4 weeks. Wow. You are a super mom!

Have you thought about getting a second opinion on all this? I'm not sure anyone can do anything differently but it seems so poopy to be going through this so early in pregnancy. I am upset thinking about having hip pain until June...and it's SO much worse for you! I mean...wow. Sending you warm healing thoughts.

Thanks gals. I just needed a good vent. I am seeing my ob and a specialist, the perinotologist. I wonder if I should call him. i have gone 5 days two separate times without anything! so frustrated because I keep thinking it will be over and then bam. I am just glad i can find the heartbeat when it happens, very reassuring.

It just seems odd that they don't know WHY this is happening. Telling you to spend 8 months on bed rest doesn't seem like a super great solution. Sad

I'm sorry it's been going on so long. If it makes you feel better, I feel like I've been on self-imposed bed/couch rest for the past 7 weeks. I'm just too tired/nauseous most of the time. And so I have DH and mom taking care of S. Although I am allowed up as much as I let myself. Still, I've only been out of the house a handful of times! I hope things look up soon! Take care!

yeah heather, they told me that i keep rupturing the blood vessels that go to the uterus. So it affects the blood supply to the baby. i havent had this bad of bleeding in over 2 weeks. I hate this, so lightheaded too.

I am hanging out on both June and July board. My due date is July 9th but I have a feeling that I will be more in june. Keep up whatever you are doing because it is helping. Everyday more is a success. I guess they looked into progestrone shots for you. I guess that wont help with the blood vessels rupturing. I hope you get answers and relief soon.

Hang in there!

Some day this will make a great guilt trip. "Do you comprehend what I did to get you safely into this world?" Wink

My mom still blames her weight on me and my brother! I'm almost 37 for goodness sake! Surely it's her love of chocolate and not a pregnancy from 37 years ago! LOL

:lurk:

The dizziness could be from your body getting so used to being in one position and then moving... Or dehydration if you arent drinking enough, or any # of things. I doubt its from the bleeding though. Usually takes much more blood loss to cause you to get dizzy.

Hang in there sista and keep my little sea monkew safe and healthy like you have been Smile
