Another boring appt :)

May all your appointments be boring :) I really don't look forward to them because they seem so pointless most of the time. But I know it's good to be checked up on. DD on the other hand wants to go back because she really wants to play with the dollhouse in the waiting room lol! I wasn't going to bring her next time since it's likely to be so fast, but told her I would since she wants to play with it so much!

Also, if you've never had GD, and you're not worried - why bother taking the test? I know people think I'm weird for opting out of literally every test, but you've had 3 healthy pregnancies, it's certainly an option no?

I opted out of the the GD test with my last pregnancy, and will be with this one too. I've never been close to failing, so what's the point?

I did fail my 1 hour one with #3, but I passed the 3 hour. I think DH especially wants me to be extra sure and vigilant because he is a diabetic, so I do it also to appease his worry.

Yeah, if you're close you should take it. There are problems that can occur for the baby if it's not properly managed. Well, hopefully, the test will reveal that you don't have to worry about it beyond that point. It's a good sign that your weight gain hasn't been super "abundant." I know that if people have a period of "rapid gain" that can be a potential sign of GD.
