Appointment

So I had my first appointment today, nothing really new, but it was nice just to know everything looks normal so far! They confirmed my due date as June 2nd, and Dr. said my utereus was the appropriate size. He said that my previous two pregnancies have gone perfectly normal and he expects this one to go just as fine, although you can never guarntee! He said he that him telling me what it is like to pregnant is like him telling Aaron Rogers how to be a quarteback! I have an ultrasound scheduled for October 24th, so I am super excited about that! (He jokingly said it was to see if there were two in there!)

YAY for a good appt! I can't wait for mine next week...although I bet it will be pretty un-eventful!

They did do blood work, of course. Which is NOT fun...

Does anyone else's doctor not do your first appointment until 9-11 weeks? That's what my new ob said and I'm kind of wondering if that's normal. I dont' think I like it.

Ya, I need to get a requisition for bloodwork when I go...and have an STD swab (NOT fun) for my CVS. That all sucks...but we will probably schedule my dating ultrasound so that will be good.

If there's one thing you want to be boring & normal, it's appointments when you're pregnant :)

The earliest my doctor will do your first appointment is 8 weeks. My appointment is scheduled for 8w4d! But, I will get an ultrasound at my first appointment!

Glad for an uneventful appointmetn!!

Mine doesn't do a first appointment until 8 weeks and it does include an u/s as well.
