I'm totally ready for it. DD is a high strung kid but tons of fun DS is so laid back and calm. Either way it can't be bad. I have had pretty much both extremes so I'm not worried. I just get sick of the comments and also think that it is sad that the people that make the comments have children and view kids as "work" vs family and little people to enjoy. I'm going into it thinking how much fun it is going to be to have another cheek to kiss and somebody else to snuggle with, not oh crap it is another diaper to change and somebody else that I have to take care of. Don't get me wrong I'm sure I will have my days but if you go forward with negative thoughts it will be hard.
Leah, it's so true. Starting with about #3 (and more so with #2 as well for me) the newborn stage is so FUN and easy!! Oh, I just love em. Just wait. The toddler stage is much easier and more enjoyable too. I'm guessing that every age is in fact easier once you've "been there, done that" before.
