DS has some and it looked pretty rashy about two weeks ago. It looks much better now.

It will go away, but other than baths, I wouldn't do anything

I saw a site that said to just wash it with mild soap, but since I tend to have pretty sensitive skin when it comes to zits I figured I would just do the same with her as I do for myself and rinse it with water daily.

I agree with Mary just rinse with water to keep clean. It'll go away on its own. Ainsley is having this now too and so did both my boys.
I was wondering is this just an issue with BF babies getting mommy's hormones or is just a newborn thing unrelated to BFing? Just curious if anyone knows.

must not be related to bfing... we are doing strictly formula and over the last week Noah has developed it too. It's also been very hot here so I dont know if htat is a factor.

I've had one exclusively formula baby, one mostly breast and one exclusively breast and they all have had baby acne. Oliver's started this weekend. I've read that it has to do with flushing hormones out that they got from us before birth?

I do think it is from the hormones. Both of my boys had at way worse than my girl. Also, I heard it was worse if they were late because they are in there longer. Asher had it pretty bad, and it's mostly gone now.

Chelle, that sounds right now that I think about it. I believe it goes away by about 3 months usually too. I'm being lazy and not looking anything up. So not sure why I'm remembering that...could be totally made up. Wink
