Baby Position and Movement

My earlier ultrasounds showed he was breach. These days I can definitely tell he flip around. One day he will be kicking my bladder, the next it will be my ribs. Yesterday morning he was laying head down, but diagonal, with his head on the left and his feet on the right. Last night he was head down with his butt pushing was way up in the air! I could take my hand and grab each side of his hiney! Yesterday he was the most active that I have ever felt him. He has been moving some this morning, but it has been hard to tell where he is at.

Hubby and I said the name years ago before we were even trying and knew we wanted that for a girl. (and we rarely agree on much ;) )

I am feeling tons of movement EVERYWHERE. I have never been good at guessing which position baby is in. Right now I'm getting a lot of feet way up by my ribs. it's actually freaking me out how big baby already is.

Agreed, I looooove this name!! I've tried it with my last two (prior to finding out they were boys) but DH isn't a fan. Lucky you :)

My guy was transverse at my u/s and then flipped breech mostly for a few weeks, and only within the last week and a half he seems to be favoring head down as the majority of kicks seem to be at the top of my belly lately. But he does manage to twist and turn in there and I'll occasionally get some kicks to the cervix - oy!

I know someone with a son named Saylor. Super cute!

Thanks ladies. I really like the name too. Her full name will be Saylor Daniel Rose. We fought about DS's name and actually didn't decide until I was in labor and I couldn't stand seeing Baby ? on the board.

I never have any clue. There are times when I can literally grab a limb, not like I know what it is. And I don't know the difference between a head and a bum. I would say the majority of "thumps" are on my right side at belly button level. But I also get tons of flipping and wave like movements. And then I'll get a kick to my cervix and rib at the same time - so stretching? Who knows! Just like DD this kid is all over the place, and I have long ago decided that I will stop trying to figure out a) position and b) what's what.

Yeah I can't tell position too easily either and never really could tell what is what as far as body parts go...I just know the kicks are mostly to my cervix, bum, all that lower stuff and I don't like that sensation much...it's a bit irritating.

Grrrrr! Today at the chiropractor we has trying to feel for my round ligaments and felt 'all baby'. Of course he couldn't tell me what he could feel because it's technically out of his scope of expertise. :( On the plus side, he couldn't really feel my round ligaments so that means they're not tight.

The chiropractor suggested I read up on 'baby mapping'. I need to do that!

With el at the end I could grab her foot, freaked my in laws out
