The bean made me...

...make popcorn and eat way too much. Yup, I'm blaming it on him/her. SO not my fault! LOL

What did your bean make YOU do?

The bean has made me so exhausted I am falling farther and farther behind at work! I SOOO Need a fog delay so that I can get caught up... not to mention I am due for an observation soon. UGH. I have spent I dont know how long sitting here trying to figure out lessons for tomorrow and I just CANT get it done. all I want ot do is go to bed. (today's field trip did not help either!)

Patience I dont envy you at all. I know I work too but it's nothing compared to teaching. I realllly feel ya on how hard that must be.

Exactly! Poor Patience! I work, but I'm at home, sitting in my basement and my boss doesn't care when I work...so if I feel icky, I can take a break and work later. It's so nice to be home in these early stages.

LOL! It makes me feel guilty I don't save more and coupon more, but it's fun to watch too!

Yeah - I limit my coupons to sanitary measures though, I won't go dumpster diving. ....and they always have like 100 coupons for Vitamin Water. There are some ladies that shop in my store on Wednesdays. They clear the shelves and it drives me CRAZY because they have like...30 coupons for croutons - I just have one. I just want my little measly one bag and they've cleared everything.

Clearing the shelves like that is VERY rude, I think.

Here in Canada we can't stack as well as you can. The show is torture for me. I got some stuff for free once or twice but the stores are buckling down on it. I don't think it's fair. Sad

Tonight bean made me have pizza for dinner. I SO didn't feel like cooking so I had DH pick pizza up on the way home from getting DD at daycare. He also brought home the MOST AMAZING garlic twisty bread! It was better than the pizza! Oh YUMMMMM!

thanks ladies. teaching is hard. today was REALLY HARD and the bean made me have a really crappy observation (with a supervisor that is against me to begin with.. she's always given me bad observations...even when it went well) so dont want to have the follow up meetin gon this one. I woke wiht a migraine and it was the say after a field trip, so the kids were WIRED> I mean off the hook out of control... that bodes well for a board supervisor to be in your room..... (some were so out of it they didnt even know we had company!) I didnt follow my lesson the way I normally do when I ahve a supervisor in the room bc my migraine was so bad I couldnt see to read it, and I was fighting getting up and puking the whole time...it was so bad (the migraine and the nausea) My hands were shaking.... I managed to make it through the day, the kids were better by the end, but I think they figured out I wasn't feeling well) and then at dismissal.. like in the MIDDLE of dismissal one of our lovely older children decided pulling the fire alarm was a good idea. so we ahd to evacuate with half of our kids on their way to buses the others with us and no clue what was going on...then hearing sirens in the distance as the whistle was blowing at the fire department.....then dealing with scared little ones as they watched the fire trucks pull in.. ("But the trucks NEVER come when it's a drill!!") so migraine came back and I got nothing accomplished after school..... day from HECK! Bean DID let me eat dinner and then pass out for a few hours though! *yet now Im trying to finish rewriting my part of a unit for hte team bc Im behind and they are waiting...* Sorry needed to vent!

Ew that sounds horrible. I was student teaching when I was pregnant and it was pretty bad like that a few times. But I was lucky and wasn't that sick.

Sorry Patience! *hugs*

Heather: I had bread for dinner last night. Just french bread. Reminded me of your bread twist.

Most of those extreme coupon'ers border on being horders. I just have no need for 150 bottles of mustard. I'd love to see one where they keep like 10% and donate the rest to a food shelter or something.

I think some of the extreme couponers do donate a lot of it. But yeah I totally know what you mean.

many of them do hoard too much, but many have very large families - like 6+ kids so they probably go through a lot more food than the average family?

A lot of them do shopping trips "just" to donate to a shelter or a charity of some sort.

I watched Extreme Cheapskates. LMAO - even DH was mesmerized by some of those people and he doesn't usually watch what I watch.

Bean made me eat baked potatoes with cheese before bed but, is also starting to give me bouts of nausea where I eat nothing.

Patience: Sorry you had a bad day. Sounds awful! ((hugs))

Ashley: I agree that a lot of the extreme couponers are hoarders. Although many of them have these organized stock piles but, Who really needs 300 cans of green beans anyway?

And that show extreme cheapskates creeps me out. The one guy was taking other people's leftovers home from a restaurant. I mean really?!? That's so gross!

Might I suggest plain eggo waffles for breakfast too. They were a lifesaver for me before and I just stockpiled again.

Ummmm....eggos....

When I was pg with DD my go to bed time snack was a toasted eggo waffle with PB & J on it. Oh YUM. It was the only thing that would keep me full until morning!

Okay, last night the bean made me go out for pancakes and bacon for dinner. Wink DH was pretty happy about that one!

Oh YUM! I've been eating saltines the last couple mornings too and then a little while later a more substantial breakfast, but I'm still getting nauseous in the morning for a little while. I seem fine for the rest of the day, like after lunch. My go to bedtime snack was pb toast, pretty filling and healthy!

Sure. I swear they were designed for pregnant women and those with the flu!

My bean made me stop for a Coke after DD's gymnastics tonight. I NEVER have caffeine after about 2:00 but this bean is making me so sleepy i needed it to get through the rest of the night.

the bean made me so exhausted I actually drank my full coffee this morning BEFORE my planning time (usually it lasts me aLL DAY) oh wait. that was the 3 yr old that though 3am was a GOOD time to get up and play! The bean did make me have to pee so much today that I didnt finish my water (not even half of it) and now is making me eat pumpkin ice cream...... (though that is only partially the bean... my sore throat is the other persuading factor!)

Patience I bet the bean gave you the sore throat too so ice cream is all the bean. Wink

My bean made me eat the whole Billy Barou at Moe's tonight.

ETA My link didn't work, it takes you to the home page so you still have to click on nachos on the left. The picture depicts a much more massive serving than what I ate but still....

Ummmm...nachos!!!

I made wraps for dinner. Grilled chicken, cheese and lettuce...oh, with ranch dressing. SO good. I'll probably be snacky before bed because I just had a small one, but better to spread my food out.

Mine too. I normally try to limit my carb intake but when I'm nauseous and that's the only thing that sounds good, I go with it.

I know...carbs calm the nausea for sure. Ugh!
