I didn't take any classes (figured taking the approach of "it'll be fine" and not thinking about it past that worked best for me with my first LOL, then my second I was more nervous about my pre-e popping up again than the actual birth), but I wonder if you could find a VBAC education class or something along those lines (if I remember correctly, you are hoping for a VBAC?). I think for those hoping to go pain-med thing, there are so many great classes too to help mentally manage the pain.
For DS I read up on hypno birthing, took classes, practiced breathing and stretching techniques.....then my water broke at 35 weeks, but I didn't go into labor so I had a double dose of pitocin. Needless to say, natural was out of the question at that point.
I thought the epidural was great and will probably do it again. I would like the opportunity to progress it along with walking and the ball this time instead of being strapped to a machine (they had to put in the probe because they couldn't get an accurate reading on DS) I had to BEG to take a shower first.
I guess I'll just go with the flow this time. I learned that I can't plan for this kind of thing. ;)
