Cervix Question?

Hi Ladies:

I know this may sound strange, but I'm wondering if anyone has a cervix that is low / lower lying? It seems to me that it should be really high. If memory serves, it was basically unreachable during my first two pregnancies. But, I can easly feel it this time; I'm considered this might be a problem. Thoughts?

Mine was low for a bit early on and has since moved back up high. I wouldn't stress about it Smile

ITA! Even when charting, I never checked my cervix, I wouldn't even know what I was doing!

lol! I googled this awhile back and it said that sometimes it takes awhile for your cervix to move back up after you get pregnant, but it is supposed to eventually, just happens at different times I guess.

LOL at Heather! ha ha ha!

I don't check cervix position ever either so no clue on that one! I think there is a wide range of okay distance though!

Totally normal to still be low. I remember I was concerned during my second pregnancy at like 14 weeks or something because it was STILL low. The doc actually did an internal exam and said all was well. I week later it moved higher. Anyway, other than my first pregnancy when I never checked, my cervix has always been within my reach. My doc said that things tend to be "lower" after you've had a baby or two!

I can tell high from low when we DTD pretty clearly without having to "manually" check things out. Wink
