How was Silver Linings Playbook? SOmething for hubby to watch to or a general 'girl movie'?
I rented Breaking Dawn part II when I had a solo night the other week. Made some spaghetti and watched it. Also watched Les Mis on Mother's day.
I really want to rent This is 40 and Parental Guidance. I think DH would watch those with me.
Sandra - that dinner sounds yummy!
No I have not! I will have to give those a shot. I love the cinnamon ones too. Oh Cheerios...

Ugh, I have to call and work on switching auto insurance today. When we got our new car, our rates skyrocketed and they are a lot cheaper elsewhere. I hate dealing with this kind of thing though.
I've been trying to talk DH into shopping around for insurance rates. He loves USAA, but I know we are overpaying. arghh
I loved Silver Linings Playbook! I don't think my DH would like it through. Even though there is lots of football talk. LOL. It is just slightly 'bizarre' (you know, seeing as how both main characters are pretty messed up emotionally and psychologically!) and my DH would probably think it was weird. But I LOVED it. My DH doesn't like anything remotely "artsy" or "theatrical". Your DH might do better!
I still haven't see Les Mis. I really need to get on that! I love Les Mis, and I am a musical theatre junkie. I just don't see movies that often!
I missed out on a lot of movies being on bed rest so long. I really want to see les mis and breaking dawn part two for sure but countless others as well. Someday ;)
DH would not do better. Unless it has 'boy' humor in it he is pretty much out.
Les Mis is good. I'm a huge, huge fan of the stage performance and it was interested to see it adapted on such a large scale. Hugh Jackman is wonderful. Anne Hathaway's acting is wonderful, but knowing the music as I do, it seemed it was adapted to her range, especially I dreamed a dream. Still a wonderful performance.
I sobbed through the whole thing. At this point in my pregnancy I can't get through just listening to I dreamed a dream or Bring him home with out sobbing, so watching it play out was especially torturous....to the point where I do think I can take it againg for some time, lol!
Tonights date night for DS and I. DH goes out with the guys every Wednesday for wings and beer. Thinking I might take him out for dinner after we get his hair cut.
OOO. I need to get Silver Linings Playbook, I keep forgetting about it, but I love Jenifer Lawrence. I haven't really seen anything new lately, We have been on a tv show kick, and DS recently got really into Doctor Who. DH was watching Bates Motel and American Horror Story.
I haven't really tasted too many cheerio flavors, and now I don't eat them. But when I was a kid I loved honey nut. Unfortunately, I have always found that regular cheerios smell like pee - and that totally turns me off all of them!
Kia I would have thought you'd seen tons of movies being on bedrest!!
I wanted to read Silver Lining Playbook, but it was way too much on the kindle, and I didn't even know if I would like it. So I'm still waiting to see it - I'm a huge tv fan, but not such a big movie junkie.
I just watched Silver Linings online for free. I never pay for "renting" movies LOL *go ahead and smack me!*
I only go to RedBox and pay the $1.20 for the movie, but that's about it.
I haven't seen a movie in the theater in years. I want to take DS to his first movie soon, but not sure what might be coming out that would be good for him to see.
