Overall my foot feels much better. It is still tender and quite sore when I walk on it, but not as bad as yesterday. I think I will tape my two smallest toes together and see how today goes.
Maybe I can get my kitchen cleaned up today....since I can stand up for longer than 2 minutes....LOL.
Bummer Sandra, I hope it feels better soon!! There are so many tiny ligaments and bones in your foot that it's amazing we don't injure them more often because they're all so vulnerable.
I was *hoping* to get up around 6 to work out so I don't have to do it during the kids' nap time, but DS decided 6:05 was a great time to wake up. I put him in my bed with me and we both fell back asleep  Oh well! I made "homemade oreos" yesterday and luckily found someone to give 2/3 of them to because I just finished off the last one for breakfast. If only they weren't so dang easy to make! ;)
Im sorry your toe still hurts. Taping should help a ton. I hope u can get more done today and it heals fast.
Ashley, u can always give me 2/3 of your homemade Oreos! ;) recipe?
Like I said...SUPER EASY!
1 box of devil's food cake mix
1/3 cup vegetable oil
Preheat oven to 325. I quickly mix the veg. oil and eggs together before adding to cake mix. Mix by hand - it'll be pretty thick, but keep mixing until all the dry cake mix is wet. Size of cookies is kind of up to you, I do about 1" balls because I like snack size ones, but it's your call. Gently press ball onto cookie sheet flattening out just slightly (I line mine with parchment paper, makes for zero sticking and easy clean up, but lightly greasing would work too). Bake for 9-11 minutes (my oven tends to run hot so 9 minutes is perfect for me). After the cookies are completely cool, frost the bottom of one cookie with whatever icing you'd like...I've used whipped vanilla, cream cheese, and making my own. All are good. Then press the bottom of another cookie into the top of the frosting, thus making an "oreo". This yields about 24 or so 1" cookies, so a dozen "oreos". A lot of people double this recipe which I'd highly recommend if you are making bigger cookies.
I warn you all...these are ADDICTING as they come. And PS: you can make this recipe with any flavor of cake mix, just change up the frosting.
O wow, I'm really wishing I could make them right now!
