Sandra: good luck with the haircuts! My DS is at an age where he HATES me cutting his hair so I understand. That cracks me up you have made it this far without cutting your little guy's hair...my DS had probably 6 haircuts before he turned one! He had crazy hair and it would have been shoulder length if I hadn'tI'll try to find a few pics for proof. I still have to cut his about every month and a half at longest.
We got right past one until our first haircut with DS. He was born with a full head and then went bald aroung 6 months, lol!
Its bittersweet to be back. The cruise was fun, even though I couldn't enjoy any fruity libations and was in bed at 9 or 10 each night, lol! DS woke up this morning and asked if we were still on the boat?
So sorry to hear of your loss Lynn. How is hubby holding up?
No, we didn't. One of the local malls was having a kid friendly event too so we went there instead. K loves that mall as they have 2 train tables, a kitchen center, a reading area and a colouring station set up in the mall. It's great! They move the little stations around so it's like a game trying to find them. LOL. Sometimes we just go there and play on a rainy day! Anyways, they had a bouncy castle on Saturday and DD was SO excited to go in, until she found out we couldn't go in with her. Then she wouldn't go.There was also a kids wear swap & shop so I bought a few things and she got a balloon animal from the clown who was there. It was fun. Then we took her through her first car wash...she was SO excited. I've never taken her as I was worried she'd be scared. She loved it.
You must have been on Royal Caribbean if you went to Labadee! Hubby and I did a similar cruise in 2007 for our honeymoon...except we went to Ocho Rios Jamaica. How did you like Grand Cayman? It was our absolute favorite port! We liked Cozumel because we rented a Jeep and cruised the island, but Grand Cayman was the best!!!!
We are big cruising fans and it is 90% of the time Royal CarribbeanALthough I would like to try Celebrity again.
This time there were 19 of us onboard with 9 balconies all in a row, so we were able to open them up and have one huge balcony.
I love Grand Cayman! I think it has the priettiest beaches ever.
Oooh, i wish I could say I was a cruiser. I WISH I were. We LOVED our first one but haven't been on another. Every summer we talk of doing an Alaskan cruise as it's really close to us here where they leave from. Problem is we never have money and/or you can't go with a newborn. Anyways, one day. Sigh. I really think cruising is great for kids! So much fun!
We were really blessed because we have been on one every year for the last three years, but two of those my grandparents paid for everyone to go and the middle one was our honeymoon.
Also, we only live 40 minutes away from Port Canaveral so we can take advantage of deals without having to worry about airfare.
Hubby and I discussed Alaska. I think that would be awesome!! I'd like to wait till both kids are a bit older so they can remember the trip too.
