Our fabric couch is in BAD condition LOL! We got it from my IL's when we first got married and it has served it's purpose well, but soon we will have to replace it. That couch has been colored, peed, puked, and pooped on! Not to mention food spills. The fabric is hanging on by it's last thread!
Haha, you ladies make me laugh. One, Ive worn make up maybe twice since I got pregnant. I just don't CARE right now. I wear foundation, eyeliner and eye shadow but it makes a heck of a difference. If DH and I are going somewhere for more than 15 minutes or so (like, I definitely don't get dressed up to go to Walmart) I'll attempt to put it on. However, since I haven't gotten my hair done in such a long time - my eyebrows have kind of lost their shape. I routinely pluck them, but.... it's a never ending battle. PLUS, I don't have any more contacts, so I've been in glasses the past few months.
About the couches, since MIL's dog is here, my couch is RUINED. I have a leather couch that he sits on, while me and DH sit on the fabric one, but as soon as anyone gets up, that dog is on this couch. He's pooped, peed and puked on it.. I've washed the covers so much that they've fallen apart, so now we have a sheet over top of the cushions. I've even lost a back cushion - no idea where it went. When my baby shower rolls around next weekend, I'm interested to see how my grandmother is going to react to sitting on a sheet. She's MUCH more high class than that.
I'm really a dog lover, but... he really gets on my nerves. My two, however, are little angels!
I dont wear makeup... just on dates or when i feel crumby to make myself feel better.
I will join the my pale-ish skin and under eye darkness = looking like death group. Bare minimum I wear concealer and a little mascara. But generally I wear Oil of Olay moisturizer that has a little foundation in it (used to wear regular foundation but love this so much more!) & either eye liner or a bit of shadow depending on how ambitious I feel.
I agree Laurie, leather is what we have in our main room and it's been a lifesaver. It's easily gotten a full gallon of milk on it over the last few years aside from whatever else.
I've done it again. Snowy boring day = making treats. What I found is essentially cheesecake brownies. Sound deadly...they're still in the oven. DH isn't here or he would be making fun of me.
Yum! I made Oatmeal Apple Cinnamon muffins yesterday afternoon....they are almost gone.....LOL.
I just made some pizza dough for supper tonight :) Don't you love the smell of pizza dough? Mmmm......yeast!
We got a new ice cream maker, so we had to try it out. Tonight I made vanilla bean ice cream!
Leah: I've always wanted an ice cream maker. Vanilla bean sounds gooooood!
Sandra: Mmmm love me some warm yeasty bread smell! And I love pizza (especially homemade if I feel up to it) so it's a win win.
Treat did not turn out as good as I'd hoped, which is probably for the best anyway. Too much egg in the recipe for my liking. We're getting hit with a crazy snowstorm tonight and I saw at least a dozen cars stuck/spun off on the main roads. Luckily I don't have anywhere to be until almost 11 tomorrow.
How are you ladies not whales? I put on 6 lbs in 4 weeks and now I'm scared to eat anything...says the woman who ate 4 hot dogs today! OMG, please don't ask! Ok, we had hot dogs for DD's birthday and there were substantial cooked leftovers....
We got an ice cream maker for a wedding gift 4+ years ago. It's one thing I said I'd never own (along with a deep frier). We probably used the thing 3 times over the years. We aren't big ice cream eaters and never have the ingredients on hand. It's really nice but sort of a weird gift (from DH's co-worker). I'd rather have had a blender. :P
Ok, now I want a cake pop. :P
I've put on 15 pounds already so I wouldn't exactly say this pregnancy is slimming. I do NOT eat like this normally but I give myself a little space when I'm pregnant to eat to an extent because it gives a silver lining to putting on weight (like at least I'm eating yummy stuff if I'm going to get huge)
